pendidikannya sangat berbeda. Pandemi Covid-19 telah mengganggu proses pembelajaran
offline atau konvensional. Untuk meminimalisir penyebaran virus covid-19, pemerintah
mengeluarkan kebijakan baru berupa social distancing atau jarak fisik. Kebijakan ini juga
berlaku untuk sektor pendidikan, dimana proses pembelajaran secara offline tidak dapat
dilaksanakan. Solusinya adalah proses pembelajaran offline atau konvensional diganti
dengan pembelajaran jarak jauh. Pembelajaran jarak jauh yang diterapkan dalam dunia
pendidikan tidak berjalan dengan mudah. Dalam implementasinya, pembelajaran berbasis
online memiliki dampak positif dan negatif.

Dampak positif pembelajaran jarak jauh:
(1) pembelajaran online yang lebih fleksibel diakses dimanapun yaitu Pendidikan Jarak
Jauh (PJJ) di Perguruan Tinggi dan Sekolah,
(2) banyak aplikasi belajar online yang mudah diakses .

Sedangkan negatif dari pembelajaran jarak jauh yaitu:

(1) daerah yang minim akses, dampaknya internet mengalami hambatan kegiatan belajar
dan mengajar
(2) sistem pembelajaran yang kolaboratif dan kooperatif begitu terbatas
(3) Pembelajar yang termotivasi secara intrinsik relatif tidak merasakan pengaruh tanpa
kehadiran pembimbing
( 4) peningkatan tentang peningkatan pembelajaran di depan layar.

may suffer from spinal disorders, such as, scoliosis, will decrease in the coming years.

or monotonous. Because the delivery of information through sophisticated technology looks
more varied and modern. Teachers can also show videos for teaching purposes to grab the
students’ attention. The videos can be documentary videos, or.. experiments videos for
science related subject, virtual travelling videos which can be used for Social studies and
Geography subject, a short film or short animation for language related subject, videos about
music, art, dance, drama, and theater for Art class, videos about travelling to a museum for
history and art class, olympic related videos for physical education class, and many more!!
The teacher can also make assignments more fun and game-like by using some websites such
as Kahoot or Quizizz.

Students can attend online class from home, thus they can save the money
they use to pay for transportation because they don’t need to go to school.
They also don't need to get up too early like during normal offline school, so
they can get more sleep.
(2) many online learning applications that are easily accessible.
All of the materials are available online so students can browse it anywhere
and anytime. They don’t need a lot of time to search for it in the library or when
borrowing a journal or book references from other people.

Meanwhile the negatives of distance learning are:
 (1) areas with minimal access, the impact of which is that the internet experiences
obstacles in learning and teaching activities.
This will be a trouble for some students and educators because they need
more time to study, explore, and get the hang of it.. not only the devices, but
also the internet connection needed for learning and teaching activities. These
things will be hard to be done if that area is kinda ‘isolated’ and left behind
from the development of technology. DITA

(2) The collaborative and cooperative learning system is so limited.

Due to online learning, students can turn on and off their cameras and also
mute and unmute their microphones. If the students turn off their cameras and
always stay muted, there won't be any feeling of a collaborative and
cooperative learning system there. This situation will make the class boring
and monotonous, thus students will get bored and sleepy and will not listen to
the class anymore. So for an example, in this one class, all students have their
cameras off and their microphones muted. Then the teacher asked them
questions about the subject he had just taught. Then due to the class
inactivity, the class will be filled with silence. This will create some kind of
awkwardness among the students and also will create some tension between
the students and the teachers because the teacher will probably be mad at
them. And if the teacher DOES get mad.. there probably will be some kind of
barrier between the students and the teacher. That barrier will affect the bond
between the students and that teacher. That barrier will ‘separate’ them, so
they probably will feel uncomfortable because of the awkwardness between
them.
Thus, in that situation, collaborative and cooperative learning can’t be
implemented properly. GABY

(3) Distance learning gives students more freedom. more than they can handle.
Students will think “there’s still time to do the assignments”, “it’s not near the
due date yet”, “I can just Google the answers”, “I can just ask my friend for the
answers”. Yes. Students. Will. Procrastinate. A. Lot. More. :)
No one tells them to get to class on time. There is no one reminding them that
assignments are due in no time. There is no one reminding them that exams
are coming. Students will “enjoy their free time”. And before they know it,
weeks have gone by.. They haven't done any homework.. They haven’t studied
at all for the upcoming exam. After realizing all of that, they will regret it.. but
usually they will not learn from those mistakes.
It feels great to have freedom, but this kind of ‘freedom’ can be dangerous if
they don't learn how to handle it. IVANDER
(4) enhancement of on-screen learning improvement.
Because all governments around the world wanted to anticipate the spread of the
coronavirus, all activities were replaced by being online. And for the education, the
government decided to turn school learning into online learning using devices.
Since there is distant learning, everyone does their activities using the device to do
everything. all activities carried out by everyone are not far from their laptop or
cellphone screens. because of online learning, the use of the device has increased.
People are also increasingly staring at their device screens because all their tasks are
on their devices. because in fact, a lot of negative things can happen because we
continue to stare at the screen of the device. one of them is that it can damage the
eye. There is a case where a student did not have eye problems before online
learning. But since online learning, he stares too often at the screen of his device, and
a few months later he had problems with his eyes and decided to wear glasses. this
can be greatly reduced if there is no more online learning. everything may also be
less influential if we have the intention to rest our eyes, and can also rest our eyes by
doing activities outside of playing on our cellphones or devices. but in current
conditions, we all still cannot predict when the online learning and covid 19 virus will
end. all governments in the world are looking for ways so that the Covid 19 virus can
end soon and return everything to normal, including eliminating online learning so
that we no longer have to stare at devices like we are now. we hope all of this can end
