Value Chain Analyst (Sep 2010 to date) Chevron (Pakistan, Egypt &
Middle East)
Responsible for Projects Evaluation for downstream businesses in Pakistan and Middle
East. Lead the fuels pricing team and advise the management on pricing decisions.
Provide analytical and statistical support on acquisition and divestitures. Coordinate
Business and CAPEX Planning activities. Advise the leadership on Class-of-Trade
divestitures. My role requires extensive utilization of problem solving tools such as
decision trees and Chevron Project Development and Execution Process (Chevron’s
proprietary project management process). Represent Chevron at industry and regulatory
forums.
Recent assignments include:
 Commercial Lead for divestment project of LPG Business $6.5 Million (in
execution phase now).
 Financial Evaluation of capital investment for retaining Chevron’s equity in
Pakistan Refinery Limited for refinery upgrade and expansion project (US$350
Million).
 Completed commercial evaluation of asset class conversion of over 15 retail
outlets in 4Q 2010.
 Delivered in-house workshops on refinery processes and pricing.
 Executive Member on Oil Refinery sub-committee of Petroleum Institute of
Pakistan

Supply Operations Manager (Oct 2005 to Aug 2010) Chevron Pakistan

Was Team Lead and custodian of fuel business S&OP process engaging internal
stakeholders on operational plans. Managed tenders for Diesel and Gasoline imports.
Negotiated and developed contracts with 3rd party service provider in line with Corp
compliance guidelines. Advised the Country Leadership on freight, pricing and
deregulation.
I was rated to be an exceptional performer in 2007 and 2008 and have received 3 merit
promotions in last 5 years.
Key Projects
  Deployed Global Supply Processes in 2007-08: Area Operating Plan, OTIF, Safety
Stock Model.
 Policy Paper on Pakistan’s Integrated Energy Plan in 2009: Lead Analyst for the
team that developed the integrated energy plan for the Prime Minister’s
Economic Advisory Committee.
 Between 2008 and 2009, standardized key operating practices under supply &
terminalling, driving out redundant activities from operations.
 Developed Process Flow Diagrams for key business processes.
 Member of the Industry group that designed and supervised the implementation
of 13-depot transportation model which yielded annual savings of PKR 1 Billion.
 New Business Development: Identified new trade channels for Chevron equity
product; the business generated over US$ 60K in 2009 in gross margins. In 2009,
negotiated a contract with 3rd parties for providing product storage facility at
Chevron terminals generating $400K as annual revenues in 2010
