Introduction

Definition of Problem

As we know today each and every footwear brands are going with the lots of

promotional activities ,and in this competitive era Amravati is also

emerging as a potential market for promotional activities on different kinds

of media, and the companies are ready to spend good amount of money on

promotional activities through newspapers and Media , through which the

awareness is developing among the public of Amravati, So the researchers

has decided to study the awareness of footwear.

Obejctives of Study

• To analyze the awareness of footwear brand in


Amravati

• To analyze different promotional activities done by


Reebok and adidas
• To analyse the behavior or perception of People
towards the brands of footwear.

• To study the awareness of People towards brands of


footwear like Reebok and Adidas

Scope of Study

Limitation of Study

• The study would be restricted to Amravati city only.

• There may be restriction in data provided by Companies

• Time bounding will also be a major factor for collecting the


data.

• The information provided by the interviewers may not be true.

Research Methodology

The research methodology is common parlance to a search for


knowledge. One can also define research as a scientific and systematic
search for needful information on specific topic.

Research design

The study will be done in Amravati city within a span of one year. The
sample size will be selected in convenient manner in the way that it
represents the whole universe. The data will be collected is in primary
nature hence we are choosing exploratory research design. The
universe in this study will be Amravati city.

Data collection

Primary data

Primary data consists of original information gathered for the specific


purpose.

It will be collected through following method.

1. Observation.

2. Personal Interviews.

3. Questionnaire.

Secondary data

Data which are not originally collected but rather obtained from
published sources or unpublished sources .thus secondary data are
those which already been collected by someone else sources or
unpublished sources. Secondary data will be collected from internet
website, books, magazines, newspapers, pamphlets, dealers, retailers
etc.

Review of Literatures:
For the analyzing purpose review of following literatures may be
required.

 Historical data of the Brands like Reebok and Adidas that are

available in Amaravati.

 Published data from Journals, Newspapers etc

Scrap:
- 2007-08 – To hire fresh graduates and give them a basic training and a
module training of 2-3 months and then allocated them on the project.
- 2008-09 – to consult the respective depts. and know their need of the dept.
and then hire employees with required skill set.
- 2009-10 – to hire employees and assign a mentor to them to assess the skill
and capabilities of candidates and then accordingly assign project to employees.
