REAR POWER TAKE-OFF

for
60" MOWER AND 38" TILLER
DESCRIPTION:
For use with 60" mower, 38" tiller and other
recommended attachments.
Spline:
1", 15 Tooth, ASAE Standard.
Drive:
Belt reduction from the manual attachment clutch
pulley. Rotation is clockwise as viewed from the rear.
Output speed is 2000 RPM at full throttle.
INSTALLATION:
Using the slots, mount front bearing bracket (19)

on studs in frame angle with weld nut flange facing
the rear and downward. Secure with 2 % washers
(11) and 2 %-16 nuts (l0) but do not tighten.
Mount bearing (3 & 4) on rear side. of bracket with
the locking ring facing the front. Secure with 2 ~6-18
x 1 carriage bolts (5) and 2 ~6-18 nuts (9). Tighten.
Install %-16 jam nut (13) on %-16 x 1 Y2 hex bolt
(12) and install bolt upward through the weld nut in
bracket about Ys".
Remove the spring bracket on right. frame-rail.
Mount middle bearing bracket over this hole and hole
in opposite frame rail. Re-install spring bracket be-
neath the same hole in the rail from which it was
removed and secure with a %-16 x % bolt (2) and
%-16 nut (10). Use identical hardware in opposite end Fig_ 2
of bracket. Tighten.
Mount bearing (3 & 4) on front side of bracket with
locking ring toward the front. Secure with 2 ~6-18
carriage bolts (5), 4 ~6 washers (7) to each side, and
2 ~6-18 nuts (6). Do not tighten.
Mount rear bearing (17) with 2 %-16 x 1 Y2 hex
bolts (23) and 2 % washers (11) and 2 %-16 nuts (10).
Do not tighten.
Install grease fitting (8) in rear bearing support.
Engage coupler (21) on spline shaft so the ~6 dia.
holes are aligned and press in ~6 dia. x 1 Y2 spirol
pin (22).
From the rear, insert the shaft (14) through the
first two bearings and install a 1" snap ring (16) in Fig. 3
