The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of Return On Equity (ROE),
Earning Per Share (EPS), Interest Rates and Exchange Rates on Stock Prices in
Manufacturing Companies Listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period
2016-2019. This study used 18 companies in the consumer goods industry sector
obtained from www.idx.co.id with the sampling technique using purposive
sampling method. The data analysis method used is multiple linear regression
analysis test and analysis test with t test and F test. The t test results indicate that
Return On Equity (ROE) has a positive and significant effect on stock prices.
Earning Per Share (EPS) has a positive and significant effect on stock prices.
Interest rates do not have a negative and insignificant effect on stock prices.
Exchange rate does not have a negative and insignificant effect on stock prices.
Furthermore, the results of the F test show that the independent variables, namely
Return On Equity (ROE), Earning Per Share (EPS), Interest Rates and Exchange
Rates simultaneously have a significant and significant effect on stock prices.
Tests with the Determination (R²) test showed a value of 0.551. This means that
all independent variables are able to explain 55.1% and the remaining 44.9% is
explained by other variables outside the independent variables.
