Payroll system will become easier then now.

• Complite information about the entities:

This system goals to prvide a platform where all the

reduce the amount of paper work that goes in managing
all the retules of the basic and necessary information
feeding.

• Report generation

• Another objective of this system is to provide

reports when they are demanded.

3. SYSTEM ANALYSIS

3.1 STUDY OF CURRENT SYSTEM

• The existing system Payroll is manual. So in the existing

system al the data entry work for e.g. Employee entry, Staff
entry etc. are performed manually.
• Because the Existing system is not computerized registers
are used for storing data.
• Greater man power is required in the current system. Thus
the costs of the current system are high.
• In the current system there is no facility of report generation
because all the data are stored in registers.
• Current system doesn’t provide any security at all. Because
data are stored in the registers and any one can access those
data and as the data are stored in papers with time they tend
to get spoilt and also the data may be lost.

3.2 FEASIBILITY STUDY

The feasibility study can be classified into various categories

like:

• Operational feasibility
• Technical feasibility
• Financial feasibility

OPERATIONAL FEASIBILITY:

• This software of payroll system is developed according to the

needs of the user who is working in any company and any
system.
• This software performs all the specific tasks pertaining to the
university database management system.
• Only those functionalities which are usefull to the system have
been added and extra details that are not required by the user
are eliminated.

4
TECHNICAL FESIBILITY:

• This software is developed according to the

needs of the user of the payroll sytstem.
• Details, which are highly technical and difficult
for the user to understand are avoided. And
functionalities are added in software such a
way that it is easy to understand to user.

FINANCIAL FEASIBILITY:

Because the payroll system is computerized, less man

power is needed. So, the cost will reduced now and the cost of
developing the software has been minimal. The tools that are used
are echonomical . Hence the software is financially feasible.

3.3 PRAPOSED SYSTEM

As the existing system is manually, the major

requirement of the system is security, i.e. no user can access the software without
verification. That means only the users with proper username and password can access
the software. Also in the new system all the task perform by the system should be
properly defined. That means there are different modules for all the tasks for e.g in any
company payroll system the different modulas are as follows:

• Employee information- That includes employee

information.
• Department information- That includes
department information.
• Company information- That includes different
company affiliated.

The new system should also contain the facility of updating of data.

The new system should also avoid the duplication of data.

Different types of the reports should be generated very easily in the new system.
