WELCOME TO THE CHILDREN’S ROOM

2011 SPRING PROGRAMS AT THE HAMILTON-WENHAM PUBLIC LIBRARY


Story classes begin the week of April 25 and continue through the week of June 6 (with the exception of Legomania).
REGISTRATION IS NECESSARY FOR THESE PROGRAMS. Registration for these programs begins on Monday,
April 11 beginning at 10 a.m. These extremely popular programs have limited space and registration must be in
person in the Children’s Room. Please choose a story time that best suits your child’s behavior and readiness. All
programs begin promptly at the stated time. As a courtesy to your group leader, please come to the Children’s Room
EARLY, so that there will be ample time for removing coats, getting drinks, using the bathroom, and allowing your child to
acclimate to our stimulating environment.
STORY PROGRAMS
BABY BOOKWORMS: Fridays at 10:30 a.m. OR 11:00 a.m. running from April 29 – June 10, 2010.
YOU MUST PRE-REGISTER FOR ONE OF THESE SESSIONS. Registration begins Monday April 11 at 10 a.m.
This 30 minute class is for newborns – 18 months. Come join Sue Shepard for 30 minutes of songs, rhymes, stories and
fingerplays! Children must be accompanied by their caregiver and alternate care for siblings is encouraged.
MUSIC & MOVEMENT: Wednesdays at 10:30 a.m. running from April 27 – June 8.
This hour long story time is presented by Lisa Davis of Cape Ann Early Intervention and is for children ages 18 – 30
months. Caregivers must accompany children and alternate care for siblings is encouraged. THIS STORY PROGRAM
HAS LIMITED SPACE AND MUST BE REGISTERED FOR IN PERSON IN THE CHILDREN’S ROOM on Monday,
April 11, beginning at 10 a.m.
RHYTHM & RHYME: Tuesdays at 1 p.m. running from April 26– June 7.
Xenda Laramie leads this story class geared toward preschoolers and kindergartners. Program includes stories,
fingerplays, and a craft! Pre-registration is appreciated.
TERRIFIC TWOS AND THREES: Mondays at 11:00 a.m. running from April 25 – June 6.
This 30 minute story class is lead by Kate Jovin and is full of stories, songs, and fingerplays. Graduates of Baby
Bookworms are welcome! *Pre-registration begins on Monday, April 11 at 10 a.m. and is required in person in the
Children’s Room. Space is limited.*
LEGOMANIA: PLEASE CHOOSE THE CLUB THAT FITS YOUR AGE!
Grade 1 – 2 Wednesdays: April 27, May 11, May 25, June 8, 3 – 4 p.m.
Grade 3 – 5 Wednesdays: May 4, May 18, June 1, June 15, 3 – 4 p.m.
Come create a masterpiece, share your ideas and designs, work individually or as a team. This is a non-competitive, non-
robotics program, created to share the joy of Legos. *Pre-registration begins on Monday, April 11 at
10 a.m. and is required in person in the Children’s Room. Space is limited.*
DADS & DONUTS: Three Saturdays this spring at 11 a.m.
April 9: Under the Sea May 21: Heroes June 11: Outdoor Fun
These 30-minute story programs are especially for Dads and children ages 2 years & up. (Moms are always invited.)
Snacks and socializing to follow the stories!

Father’s Day Storytime and Craft: Saturday, June 18. 11:00 a.m.
What’s the Story?: Wednesdays, March 30, April 13, April 27, 6:30 p.m.
