1. Annual Report

2. Annual Treasurer’s Statement - Received

Still need 2009 and 2010 Cross Country participant numbers to cover bus
costs.
2011 zone participation invoices sent out. Schools need to pay ASAP,
possibly at Auburn PSSA rule workshop next Thursday.

5. Urgent Business
• Trials
o Softball – Regional Carnival held on 30th March 2011.
Auburn Zone trials - Wednesday 2nd March. Venue to be
advised. Celeste (Blaxcell St) and Leanne Jackson (Rosehill
PS) to coach girls team. Rob Ernsteins (Merrylands East) to
coach boys.

o Football – Regional Carnival on the 5th April – trials to be held

on Wednesday 9th March. Progress Park. Jonathan Pears
(Rosehill PS) to coach.

o Netball – Regional Carnival on 4th May at South Windsor.

Trials to be held on Wednesday on the 23rd March at Auburn
West PS. Renee O’Rourke (Auburn North) to coach.

• Rules Workshop – next Thursday 17th February, Granville PS

(upstairs, in the library) Names to be recorded so as to use later
on if there are any issues.

• Motion regarding postponement of games, when a school is forced

to forfeit due to an error (ie due to bus company). Need to show
evidence and just cause and have unbiased convener decide on the
issue.

• General – Auburn West to send rep down to notify schools if not

attending softball due to wet weather.
• Temperature Rule - If temperature is to high and games are
forfeited it is unfair to the first school who withdraws. Need to look
at weather clause to make it fairer for schools to withdraw and not
suffer point consequences.
• Blaxcell St not to participate in term 3 and 4 PSSA. Instead
running gala days with other schools welcome to attend. Too
expensive for school to cover costs to cover teachers. Trialling for a
year to see how it goes.
