INTERNATIONAL STUDENT INSURANCE

In compliance with the Ministry of Education’s Code of Ethics on International Student Recruitment, the University has made
available an International Student Insurance (ISI) Scheme, which is compulsory for international students. Details of the
coverage and benefits of the insurance scheme are available at Finance Department (located at Building 2 Level 1) upon
request.

All international students are therefore required to pay for this insurance scheme upon admission into the University. A
Medical Insurance Card that can be used at selected hospitals and medical centers will be issued to you at Finance
Department once it is available. The coverage and benefits of the insurance scheme will be given together with the Medical
Insurance Card. It is the responsibility of the student to ensure that their coverage is renewed before it expires annually.

Should you require hospitalization at any point during your period of study in Monash University, kindly contact +(603)
55146333 for medical emergency and assistance and contact AIG at +(603) 2772 5611 for hospitalization and insurance
related matters.

You are advised to have the AIG ISOS (Insurance) phone number +(603) 2772 5611 with you at all times. They will accept
