The Nuclear Power Threat behind It’s Advantages

Now days energy become the most important needed for every nation in the world, While
we do much to conserve energy, the fact is that Australia has increased its energy consumption
by over 2% per year since 1970, This is just Australia . The rest of World's use of energy will
rise even faster. there is some nation that faced energy deficit problem. For example, the State of
Victoria had a reserve energy deficit of 500 Megawatts in the summer of 2005 which was twice
the 229 Megawatt deficits of 2004 (source: Nuclear Info.net). This deficit will continue to grow
without substantial new electricity generation capacity, so that It is quite possible to utilize
Nuclear Power to provide the vast majority of an entire country's need for electricity.

Nuclear power is generated using Uranium rods as fuel, and the heat is generated by
nuclear fission, uranium is a metal mined in various parts of the world, it work in pretty much the
same way as fossil fuel-burning stations, except that a "chain reaction" inside a nuclear reactor
makes the heat instead. Some military ships and submarines have nuclear power plants for
engines, Nuclear power produces around 11% - 14% of the world's energy needs, and produces
huge amounts of energy from small amounts of fuel, without the pollution that we would get
from burning fossil fuels.

Nuclear power is the world's largest source of emission-free energy. Nuclear power
plants produce no controlled air pollutants, such as sulfur and particulates, or greenhouse gases.
The use of nuclear power in place of other energy sources helps to keep the air clean, preserve
the Earth's climate, avoid ground-level ozone formation and prevent acid rain, Nuclear power has
important implications for our national security. Inexpensive nuclear power, in combination with
fuel cell technology, could significantly reduce our dependency on foreign oil.

Like any large scale industrial activity, there have been numerous accidents and mistakes
at Nuclear Power plants and reprocessing facilities. A partial list of these is available from
wikipedia link. These are: Three Mile Island in 1979 and Chernobyl in 1986. many people were
reasonably concerned about the safety of nuclear power plants from it radiation Nuclear.
radiation can causes many biological effects such as : Cell Death or Apoptosis, Cancer Induction,
Genetic Damage to Future Generations and Dose-Response Tissue Reactions After the events
on, and it can be destroyed the nature or even can be caused of gone human species.

From this essay we can conclude that even though nuclear power have many advantages
inside, but there are still have a mega dangerous waiting behind. It’s Better using another power
source like, geothermal, solar cell, wave power plant, etc. and if there are a country have no
choice for their source energy except using nuclear power, so use it with full of responsibility.
