Introduction
* Location of the factory *

The factory is located at gate no 407 and 408 village Dhandgao

Tal Daund Dist Pune. It is situated in an industrially backward
area but on Pune Solapur National Highway. The company has
purchased aggregate area of 1hector and 20R form MR.Umesh
Vasontrao Thorat and miss Poonm Vasontrao Thorat for total
consideration of Rs.3.25 lacs under 2 separate registered sales
both dated 19.11.1996.
The site is around 48kms away from Pune. The actual site is
about 600mts from the highway. Even this industry is located in
the backward area it is still very near to developed areas like
Mumbai and Pune as well as upcoming areas like A'nagar,
Aurangabad. The labors here are economically cheaper than the
developed areas.

* History of aluminum industry in India *

The aluminum industry in India has been around for more than
50years. It started off with the downstream segment and moved
swiftly, particular after the 1960s to integrate backwards into
mining, refining of alumina and smelting.

Until 1989, the aluminum industry was regulated by the

government, maintaining a strict control on entire gamut of
operation – starting from capacity addition, price control, volumes
to be produced and even distribution pattern for downstream
application.

In March 1989, the government relaxed the regulation over

product pricing and later in 1991 it further eased its regulation
on fresh capacity creation. Besides, the tax reforms committee
under Dr. Raja Chelliah had recommended rationalizing of the
duty structure on both ferrous and non-ferrous metals by levying
uniform duty structure.

* Opportunity for Consumption Growth *

The opportunities for increased consumption of aluminum in the

country in future years are immense. For a nation so well placed
for increased application of aluminum the low per capita
consumption is a strange paradox.

From consumption pattern we conclude that our consumption is not

even at par with Cameroon, Brazil, and Mexico which are
developing economies with growth rate of economy less than that
of China.
Manufacture process
Aluminum ingots from primary products graded market scrap along
with alloying element in the form of manufacture alloys are
melted in oil find reverberation furnace then as per below given
chart manufacturing process conducted
