ABSTRAK

HUBUNGAN KECEMASAN TERHADAP KEBERHASILAN ASI EKSKLUSIF PADA IBU

BEKERJA DI RS PANTI WALUYO PURWOREJO

Latar Belakang, Bekerja adalah aktifitas fisik maupun pikiran dalam mengerjakan, mendesain ataupun
menyelesaikan sesuatu. Ibu bekerja dituntut untuk dapat seimbang melaksanakan tugas kantor dan rumah.
Keadaan psikologis ibu yang cemas akan menghambat produksi hormon oksitosin yang akibatnya ASI
tidak lancer.
Tujuan Penelitian, Tujuan penelitian ini mengetahui hubungan kecemasan terhadap keberhasilan ASI
Eksklusif pada ibu bekerja di RS Panti Waluyo Purworejo
Metode Penelitian, Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif analitik dengan pendekatan cross
sectional. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh pekerja wanita di Rumah Sakit Panti Waluyo
Purworejo berjumlah 92 orang dengan sampel 22 orang. Pengukuran kecemasan menggunakan State
Trait Anxiety Inventory (STAI) dan keberhasilan ASI ekslusif menggunakan kuesioner. Kategori ASI
esklusif yang digunakan adalah menurut WHO. Pengujian hipotesis menggunakan analisis Rank
Spearman.
Hasil penelitian, Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan 1) sebagian besar responden berumur 20-35 tahun
(81,8%), sebagian besar responden berpendidikan tinggi (72,7%) dan urutan anak yang disusui
merupakan anak pertama (45,5%), 2) Sebagian besar responden hanya mengalami kecemasan ringan
(68,2%). Banyaknya volume ASI yang diproduksi dipengaruhi oleh kondisi psikis seorang ibu, 3)
Keberhasilan ASI eksklusif sebagian responden termasuk menyusui parsial (50,0%). Kecemasan akan
mempengaruhi hormone prolactin yang akan mempengaruhi produksi ASI. Berdasarkan hasil uji Rank
Spearman, ada hubungan signifikan antara kecemasan dengan keberhasilan asi eksklusif pada ibu bekerja
di RS Panti Waluyo Purworejo dengan koefisien Spearman Rank = -0,595 dan p=0,003.
Kesimpulan, Ada hubungan signifikan antara kecemasan dengan keberhasilan asi eksklusif pada ibu
bekerja di RS Panti Waluyo Purworejo. Semakin tinggi kecemasan maka keberhasilan ASI Eksklusif
semakin menurun,dan sebaliknya semakin kecil kecemasan maka keberhasilan ASI eksklusif semakin
meningkat.
Rekomendasi, Penelitian selanjutnya sebaiknya dapat mengontrol faktor lain yang mempengaruhi
produksi ASI .

ABSTRACT

RELATIONSHIP OF ANXIETY ON THE SUCCESS OF EXCLUSIVE BREAST MILK WORK

AT PANTI WALUYO PURWOREJOHOSPITAL

Background, work is a physical activity or a mind in doing, designing or solving something. Working
mothers are required to be balanced in carrying out office and home tasks. The psychological state of a
worried mother will inhibit the production of oxytocin hormones which consequently breast milk is not
lancer.
Objectives, the purpose of this research is to know the relationship of anxiety on the success of the
exclusive breast milk work at Panti Waluyo Hospital.
Methods, this study uses a descriptive-analytical method with a cross-sectional approach. The population
in this study was that all female workers at Panti Waluyo Purworejo Hospital amounted to 92 people with
a sample of 22 people. Measurement of anxiety using State-Trait Anxiety Inventory (STAI) and the
success of exclusive ASI using questionnaires. Hypothesis testing using the Rank Spearman analysis.
Results, this study showed that 1) most of the respondents were 20-35 years old (81.8%), most of the
respondents were highly educated (72.7%) and the order in which the child is the first child (45.5%), 2)
Most of the respondents suffered only mild anxiety (68.2%). The large volume of breast milk produced is
influenced by the psychic condition of a mother, 3) exclusive breastfeeding success of some respondents
including partial lactation (50.0%). Based on the Spearman Rank test results, there is a significant
relationship between anxiety and the success of exclusive breastfeeding in working mothers at Panti
Waluyo Purworejo Hospital with the Spearman Rank coefficient = -0.595 and p = 0.003.
Conclusion, there is a significant relationship between anxiety and the success of exclusive breastfeeding
in working mothers at Panti Waluyo Purworejo Hospital. The higher the anxiety, the success of exclusive
breastfeeding decreases, and conversely the smaller the anxiety, the success of exclusive breastfeeding
increases.
Recommendation, Further researchers should be able to control other factors that affect milk production.
