Syukur Alhamdulillah kerana Institut Pendidikan Guru (IPG) telah berjaya melaksanakan
sesi pengajian kepada pelajar yang mengikuti Program Ijazah Sarjana Muda Perguruan
dengan Kepujian ini bermula pada Januari 2007. Kejayaan melaksanakan program
peringkat ijazah pada kali pertama ini membina suatu lakaran sejarah baru kepada 27
Institut Pendidikan Guru dan Bahagian Pendidikan Guru, Kementerian Pelajaran
Malaysia.
Buku Panduan Program Sarjana Muda Perguruan ini disediakan bagi membantu Institut
Pendidikan Guru merancang dan melaksanakan pengajian akademik selaras dengan
keperluan kurikulum. Maklumat am yang dimasukkan di dalam buku ini seperti Kerangka
Konseptual Kurikulum, Pengenalan, Matlamat, dan Hasil Pembelajaran Program perlu
diteliti dan difahami oleh tenaga pengajar supaya aspirasi latihan perguruan dalam
program ijazah ini dapat dicapai secara optimum.
Bahagian lain di dalam Buku Panduan ini memberi tumpuan kepada Struktur Program,
Perincian Kursus-kursus yang ditawarkan, Agihan Kursus Mengikut Semester, Sinopsis
Kursus, Sistem Penyampaian dan Pentaksiran, Matriks Hasil Pembelajaran, Pakej
Kursus Elektif dan Kombinasi Major dan Elektif boleh membantu Institut Pendidikan Guru
merancang dan menyediakan jadual waktu pengajaran, pelantikan tenaga pengajar,
pengurusan bahan sumber pengajaran dan pembelajaran serta menguruskan agihan
pelajar berdasarkan kumpulan pengajian. Justeru, sistem pelaksanaan program ini di
semua 27 IPG ditadbirkan secara berpusat (centralised), maklumat-maklumat khusus
tentang program ini sangat berguna untuk dijadikan panduan kepada IPG berkenaan.
Di samping itu, Buku Panduan ini juga membantu pelajar memahami kandungan dan
sinopsis kursus yang akan mereka ikuti. Memang menjadi hasrat Bahagian Pendidikan
Guru dan Institut Pendidikan Guru untuk melahirkan guru profesional setelah pelajar
mengikuti pengajian dan latihan perguruan.
Saya percaya Buku Panduan ini akan membolehkan tenaga pengajar dan pelajar
memahami keperluan kurikulum dan pengisian pengajian dengan skop yang menyeluruh
bagi menjayakan program ini dengan cemerlang.
Pengenalan
Kurikulum Pendidikan Guru adalah suatu pelan pengalaman pembelajaran untuk belajar
dan pengalaman pembelajaran untuk mengajar bagi melahirkan insan guru yang
profesional dan bersepadu.

Spesifikasi Program adalah merujuk kepada matlamat, hasil pembelajaran, dan cara
bagaimana hasil pembelajaran dicapai dan dinilai, struktur program dan juga syarat-
syarat kemasukan pelajar.
Fokus hasil pembelajaran program yang hendak dicapai adalah dari segi:
Penilaian dilaksanakan secara formatif dan sumatif dalam pelbagai bentuk seperti
pentaksiran berterusan, Ujian Akhir Kursus, peperiksaan berpusat dan penulisan
akademik.
Jaminan Kualiti
Kelulusan Kurikulum
Institut Pendidikan Guru (IPG) merupakan nama baru bagi menggantikan maktab
perguruan setelah institusi berkenaan dinaikkan taraf mulai 1 April 2006. Terdapat
27 buah IPG di seluruh negara. Sejak itu IPG mula menawarkan program Ijazah
Sarjana Muda Perguruan Dengan Kepujian bagi memenuhi keperluan
Kementerian Pelajaran Malaysia untuk melahirkan guru sekolah rendah yang
berijazah. Institut Pendidikan Guru (IPG) menawarkan program latihan perguruan
praperkhidmatan bagi melatih guru sekolah rendah dalam pelbagai mata
pelajaran. Sebagai prasyarat, pelajar dikehendaki mengikuti kursus persediaan
selama tiga semester di IPG yang ditetapkan oleh Kementerian Pelajaran
Malaysia. Pelajar yang lulus kursus persediaan ditawarkan untuk mengikuti
Program Ijazah Sarjana Muda Perguruan (PISMP) dengan Kepujian selama
empat tahun.
MATLAMAT PROGRAM
Matlamat Program ini adalah untuk melahirkan guru sekolah rendah yang
berkualiti dari segi penguasaan ilmu pengetahuan, kemahiran, dan ketrampilan
profesionalisme selaras dengan Falsafah Pendidikan Kebangsaan dan Falsafah
Pendidikan Guru.
v. Memiliki dan menampilkan nilai, etika, dan amalan yang bertepatan dengan
Prinsip Etika Kerja Perkhidmatan Awam dan Kod Etika Keguruan Malaysia;
vi. Menghayati dan mengamalkan nilai murni sebagai insan yang percaya dan
patuh kepada ajaran agama dan kesejahteraan bermasyarakat;
Tahun Akademik
Tahun akademik IPG dibahagikan kepada dua semester iaitu Semester Pertama
dan Semester Kedua. Setiap semester mengandungi 18 minggu interaksi
termasuk minggu peperiksaan. Pelaksanaan aktiviti Semester Pertama dan
Semester Kedua dijalankan seperti yang berikut:
Kursus Wajib
Kursus Wajib terdiri daripada Kursus Wajib Institusi Pengajian Tinggi (IPT), dan
Kursus Wajib Institut Pendidikan Guru (IPG).
Kursus Wajib ialah kursus yang wajib dipelajari oleh setiap pelajar IPG yang
mengikuti PISMP. Kursus ini bertujuan untuk memperkenalkan pengetahuan asas,
kemahiran generik, dan kemahiran insaniah yang perlu dikuasai oleh seseorang
guru. Kursus Wajib diperuntukkan sejumlah 23 kredit.

Kursus Elektif
Kursus Elektif terdiri daripada dua Pakej Elektif yang diitawarkan bagi
membolehkan pelajar mengajar dua mata pelajaran lain selain daripada kursus
major. Skop kursus merangkumi aspek pengetahuan kandungan pedagogi dan
pentaksiran yang berasaskan Sukatan Pelajaran Sekolah Rendah. Pakej Elektif
diperuntukkan sejumlah 24 kredit. Setiap Pakej Elektif diagihkan sejumlah 12
kredit.

Teras kepada sistem penyampaian dan pentaksiran ialah pembinaan daya berfikir dalam
kalangan pelajar untuk membolehkan mereka memainkan peranan sebagai pengurus
dan pemimpin pembelajaran di sekolah. Matlamatnya adalah melahirkan guru reflektif
yang sentiasa mengamalkan pembelajaran sepanjang hayat dan sentiasa berusaha
meningkatkan pengetahuan dan kemahiran selaras dengan perkembangan bidang
pendidikan terkini.
This course aims to build on learners’ current English language skills. It focuses
on the English Sound System, Parts of Speech/Word Classes, Tenses, Sentence
Types, Types of Questions, Listening and Speaking Skills, Reading Skills,
Paragraph Writing and Writing for Different Purposes.
Kursus ini bertujuan meningkatkan kemahiran Bahasa Inggeris sedia ada pelajar.
Tumpuan diberi kepada tajuk-tajuk sistem bunyi Bahasa Inggeris. tatabahasa,
jenis-jenis ayat, jenis-jenis soalan, kemahiran mendengar dan bertutur, membaca,

This course focuses on the approach and strategy students should acquire and
model to support the achievement of numerical literacy. The topics discussed are
problem solving, operation and computation, measurement, spatial sense, and

Kursus ini berfokus kepada pendekatan dan strategi yang sepatutnya dikuasai
dan dimodeli oleh pelajar sebagai persediaan untuk menyokong pencapaian

Kursus ini bertujuan untuk melahirkan guru permulaan yang memiliki ciri-ciri dan
perwatakan insan pendidikan yang berpengetahuan, berdaya maju, berdaya
tahan, dan berdaya saing. Penekanan kursus diberikan terhadap pembentukan
diri guru secara holistik dan kontekstual.
This course aims to produce teachers who are knowledgeable, progressive and
resilient. The course focuses on the development of the teachers holistically and
contextually.
Kursus ini merupakan suatu program perkhemahan selama empat hari tiga
malam. Pelajar diterapkan dengan ciri-ciri, potensi dan citra diri seorang insan
guru, pembinaan self-esteem, membina daya saing yang tinggi di samping
mampu membuat refleksi diri dalam menghadapi cabaran yang akan dihadapi
dalam profesion perguruan.
This course is a four days camping programme. Through the activities, teacher
trainees will be nurtured with the characteristics and the art of being a teacher,
building their self-esteem, to have a high competetive spirit and the ability to self-
reflect to enable them to face challenges in the teaching profession.
This course aims to nurture the awareness of the importance of public service.
Students are exposed to the skill of planning, organising and attending
workshops. The aspect which is given emphasises are social ettiquette, protocol,
public speaking, speaking skills, effective listening, table ettiquette, managing
official ceremonies and dressing code.
Kursus yang berbentuk perkhemahan selama tiga hari dua malam ini bertujuan
memberi peluang kepada pelajar mengaplikasikan kemahiran berfikir aras tinggi
dalam membuat perancangan dan pengendalian aktiviti. Tumpuan akan diberi
terhadap penyediaan mendirikan khemah, interaksi dengan komuniti setempat,

This course aims to nurture the awareness of training development skills and
benchmarking, students are exposed to teachers and law mandate, Act 550
(1996), profesional circulars, service circulars, state education department
functions and sectors and functions of the role of education district officers,
benchmark leadership characteristics, school organisation, school climate,
infrastructure and school curriculum infostructure.
This course aims to upgrade continuos self professionalism. The focus of the
course is related to workshops, workshops theme, administering post inventory
test of self direct search, conflict inventory, interpretation of test, finding,
reflection, benchmarking visits, professional, interaction with excellent teachers,
innovation, professionasme commitment reports and reflective evaluation.

conducting individual and group counseling and various types of therapy in child
counseling.
This course discusses educational issues and current challenges, early symptoms
of emotional disturbances amongst students, teachers and ways to overcome,
innovation and managing educational changes.

peraturan paradigmatik, stilistik dan bahasa Melayu saintifik.

Kursus ini sebagai lanjutan kepada tajuk-tajuk yang dibincangkan dalam Kursus
Tatabahasa Arab 1 mengenai pembentukan ayat dengan gaya bahasa yang
betul dan tepat. Di samping itu kursus ini membincangkan kaedah mengajar
sintaksis secara umum yang merangkumi kata nama tidak fleksi, kata kerja tidak
fleksi, kata nama fleksi, kata kerja fleksi, penggunaan gaya bahasa, gaya kecuali ,
seruan, penjodoh bilangan dan kata susul dengan memberi penekanan kepada
kaedah pengajaran di sekolah rendah .
Morfologi Arab

Kursus ini memberi tumpuan kepada teori dan praktik morfologi Arab, sistem
morfologi Arab dengan memberi tumpuan kepada kata dasar, kata terbitan,
awzan sarfi (pola morfologi), peraturan-peraturan morfologi dan juga bentuk-
bentuknya serta makna, struktur ayat namaan dan pembentukannya, kata nama
dan kata kerja serta jenis-jenis tasrif, juga mendedahkan kaedah, teknik dan
strategi pengajaran morfologi Arab.
This course focuses on the theory and practical aspects of Arabic morphology,
the principles, rules and forms of Arabic Morphology, nominal and verbal
sentences, nouns and verbs approaches, techniques and strategies to teach
Arabic morphology.
This course focuses on the chronology of Arabics literature which are divided into
five main periods, Jahily, early Islam, Umayyad, Abbasy and Modern, types of
literature, prose and poetry, well-known poets, orators and writers, also analyse
various language aspects for enrichment and skills in teaching Arabics literature.
This course discusses two important and significant factors in the teaching
process, syllabus and text book, syllabus contents and curriculum specifications,
combination of using text book, assessment book and teacher’s guide.
This course discusses the concept of micro and macro teaching, different skills,
implement of the micro and macro teaching, lesson planning, daily, weekly and
semester and writing learning outcomes and writing reflections.

In this course, students will revisit the concepts of probability and explore
inferential statistics such as t-test, chi-square test, analysis of variance (ANOVA)
in hypothesis testing and linear regression in analyzing linear relationship in
bivariate variables. The use of sampling and estimation theory to estimate the
mean of population is discussed. The importance of using the appropriate
statistical methods in solving real life problems is emphasized.

teknologi dalam matematik, kemudahan-kemudahan matematik dan pengurusan

This course will provide an opportunity for students to begin planning an effective
mathematics lesson. Students are taught and guided to incorporate appropriate
methods and techniques in their planning, using relevant mathematical ideas. In
addition, applications of mathematics learning theories are highlighted in the
teaching and learning of mathematics. Various creative approaches to enhance
learning of mathematics are also discussed.

This course focuses on the key concepts of calculus which includes functions and
graphs, basic understanding of limits and limit theorem, derivatives and integrals,
and patterns and relationships. The technology is applied to sketch and interpret
the graphs of functions.

Praktikum adalah latihan praktik yang merupakan komponen wajib dalam program
pendidikan guru. Latihan ini bertujuan untuk mempraktikkan teori pengajaran dan
pembelajaran yang dipelajari di IPG dalam pelbagai situasi. Praktikum Fasa 3
adalah kesinambungan Praktikum Fasa 2 yang memberi peluang kepada pelajar
untuk menguasai (mastery) pengetahuan, kemahiran dan nilai keguruan secara
terbimbing dalam situasi sebenar. Pelajar mengamalkan dan menguasai pelbagai
teori pengajaran dan pembelajaran dalam situasi sebenar melalui bimbingan dan

This course aims to provide knowledge and basic skills of Physical Education,

Kursus ini meliputi konsep asas pengenalan kepada anatomi dan fisiologi.
Penekanan diberikan kepada perbincangan tentang peringkat kimia, selular dan

mathematics lesson. Students are taught and guided to incorporate appropriate
methods and techniques in their planning, using relevant mathematical ideas. In
addition, applications of mathematics learning theories are highlighted in the
teaching and learning of mathematics. Various creative approaches to enhance
learning of mathematics are also discussed.

This course provides an opportunity for the students to inculcate and develop
good teaching practices in numbers, fractions, decimals and percentages.
Discussions cover aspects related to children’s conceptual developments,
teaching and learning activities as well as construction of learning resources of
these topics. Practical experience is gained through micro/macro teaching
sessions.
This course will equip students with the skills of carrying out testing and evaluation
in mathematics. It helps students to diagnose children’s learning difficulties and
hence take effective actions to fulfill children’s special needs in learning
mathematics. Experience on applying technology in assessment is also provided
through hands-on activities.

Kursus ini merangkumi konsep asas, prinsip dan fungsi, proses pelaksanaan,
perkaedahan serta aktiviti-aktiviti tentang pengajaran dan pembelajaran
kemahiran mendengar, kemahiran bertutur serta mengintegrasi kemahiran
mendengar dan bertutur dalam pengajaran dan pembelajaran.
Kursus ini adalah opsyenal dan ditawarkan dalam Semester 3 selama 10 minggu.
Tumpuannya kepada penggunaan tatabahasa bahasa Inggeris dalam lisan dan
penulisan.
This course is optional and is offered in Semester 4 over a period of 10 weeks. It will
help learners in the preparation for the Malaysian University English Test (MUET).
The topics emphasizes on listening, speaking, reading and writing.
Hasil Pembelajaran
Menunjukkan kefahaman tentang 1.1 menjelaskan kandungan ilmu yang berkaitan dengan
kandungan ilmu, teori pembelajaran, bidang pengajian;
bahan kurikulum, Pentaksiran,
1.2 menghuraikan teori pembelajaran yang memperkukuh
pengurusan persekitaran pembelajaran
kandungan pengetahuan pedagogi;
dan sumber yang berkaitan dengan
bidang pengajian. 1.3 mengintepretasikan bahan kurikulum yang relevan untuk
meningkatkan pengajaran dan pembelajaran yang
berkesan;
1.4 menjelaskan jenis-jenis pentaksiran dan prosedur yang
berkaitan dengan bidang pengajian;
1.5 mengenal pasti sumber yang berkaitan dengan konteks
pengajaran dan pembelajaran;
1.6 menganalisis persekitaran pembelajaran untuk keperluan
pembelajaran yang pelbagai dengan menggunakan teori
dan strategi yang sesuai.
