71.1 GENERAL

Supplementary Specifications Sections 71, 72, 73, 74*, 75* and 76* shall
be read in conjunction with the Standard Specifications For Building
Works And Other Installations (2009 Edition). In case of discrepancies
between the Supplementary Specifications and the Standard
Specifications, the Supplementary Specifications shall prevail.

71.2 SCOPE OF CONTRACT

71.3 DRAWINGS

71.3.1 The Drawings referred to in the Contract shall be as listed in the Schedule
of Drawings issued by the Employer, including any modifications of such
Drawings approved in writing by the Superintending Officer or the SO Rep
and such other drawings as may from time to time be issued or approved
in writing by the Superintending Officer or the SO Rep.

71.3.2 Where the Standard Architectural Construction Details Manual, Standard

Structural Details Manual, Standard Electrical Drawings Manual and
Standard Civil Engineering Construction Details Manual (hereinafter
referred to as "Manuals" for the purpose of this subclause), are specified
in the Schedule of Drawings, such Manuals shall form part of the Contract
and shall be read in conjunction with the other Drawings referred to in the
Contract. In a case of discrepancies between such Manuals and the other
Drawings referred to in the Contract, the latter shall prevail.

The standard construction detail or details in respect of an item of work

contained in the above-mentioned Manuals shall apply in so far as such
an item of work is part of the Works under the Contract.

71.4 CONTROL CLAUSE

(A) The following Specifications shall be applicable to this Contract :

(a) Standard Specifications For Building Works And

Other Installations (2009 Edition)

(b) *Standard Specifications For Civil Engineering Works

(2009 Edition)

(c) Supplementary Specifications Section 71, 72, 73, 74*,
