ABSTRACT
This study aims to describe and analyze the effect of improving the performance of human
resources based on spiritual calling and religiosity through job satisfaction. The population
in this study were employees in the Baubau City Ministry of Religion and the education of
authorities. Sampling of 75 respondents was done randomly using the cluster random
sampling method. Analysis of the data used is multiple linear regression analysis that had
previously been tested for validity and reliability and test classic assumptions, to examine the
effect of human resource performance on spiritual calling and religiosity variables directly or
indirectly through the variable job satisfaction. The results obtained are job satisfaction has
a positive effect on performance. Spiritual calling and religiosity have a positive effect on job
satisfaction. Spiritual calling and religiosity have a positive effect on the performance of
human resources partially or simultaneously through job satisfaction.
