Devotional One, Read: Read the following verses about sins being
covered or forgiven.
Scriptures to consider: 2 Chronicles 7:14; Psalm 32:1-2; Psalm 51:1-3;
Isaiah 59:1-2; Matthew 26:28; Romans 6:6
Devotional Two, Pray: Jesus looked to the Passover as something impor-
tant from Moses’ time but also as something newly important. He told the
disciples that what used to mean one thing now were going to mean an-
other. Jesus said that whenever we eat the bread and drink from the cup
that we should remember Him. A great to remember what Jesus did is by
telling Him. By praying, we are remembering how special Jesus is and how
special His sacrifice was. Pray thanking God for what He did. Ask Him to
help you to always remember that his body was broken for you and His
blood was spilled out for you too.

Devotional Three, Mold: The Lord uses daily lessons to mold us. He used
the very common Passover meal to teach something new. Ask Him to
teach you something new from His word this week. Look at the Last Sup-
per in scripture and mold the scene. There’s also a famous painting you
could look up called “the Last Supper.”
Devotional Four, Build: Build a scene from Exodus 7 using Legos, Duplos,
Mega Blocks, or some other kind of building toy. See if you can use these
blocks to get all of the details right. Talk with your parents about how
this story might relate to the one we learned on Sunday.

Devotional Five, Sing: I love hymns. Hymns are songs that people might have been singing for hundreds of years. One of my favorites is “ There is
power in the blood” With your parent’s help, look up this song on the internet or in a hymn book. See if you can find the story behind the song.
Talk about this song and what it means. A good resource is “www.cyberhymnal.org,” you can listen and read the lyrics and read about the hymn. See
if you can sing the hymn once you’re finished learning about it.
