Equipment, as well as construction of 300mm thick concrete access and site roads, along with perimeter

And concrete pedestals for support of steel stanchions .

construction of the concrete components associated with the

Coast Guard Airport Hanger at Piarco.

reinforced concrete members at Spancrete for construction of Orange
Grove Prison in St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands.

Oct. 1999 – Nov. 1999: Technician, responsible for the inspection of prestressed precast
concrete components at Spancrete Precast Co. for production of 2.5
million gallon desalination plant in Barbados.
1993 – 1999: Technician involved on the Rural Access Roads and Bridges
Programme for Ministry of Works and Transport. Participates in
quantity take offs and costing. Supervises civil construction
including soils and concrete testing of earth and roadworks at
Aranguez, Macoya and Caroni. Performed structural inspection of
bridges at Cumuto, Little Coora, Couva and Valencia. Attends
contract meetings with Resident Engineer, Contractors and Clients.
Also assists in calculation quantities for Monthly Payment
Certificates. Structural inspection of precast AASHTO beams and
bulb tee beams at Pres-T-Con and Spancrete precast site.

Performed quality control inspection for earthworks, roadworks,

200 houses at Real Spring, Valsayn. Performed quantity take-offs,
costing, tender evaluation for petty Contractors, supervised
construction, did payment certificates and material/ equipment
procurement and scheduling.
1983 – 1985: On the Lady Hailes/Independence Avenues improvements in San
Fernando, was the Inspector in charge of drains and sidewalk
construction. Was also the Soils Technician carrying out field
density testing and assisting the Resident Engineer in the
measurement of quantities.
1979 – 1983: In charge of the site laboratory and all soils and materials testing as
well as road-works inspection on the Mucurapo Foreshore Freeway
(Audrey Jeffers Highway).
1978 – 1979: Technician on the East-West Corridor project involved in inspection
of civil works, concrete pours and steel placement at Market Viaduct.
Was sole inspector in charge of structural inspection of Barataria
Interchange Construction and Black River Bridges.
