GREENVILLE UTILITIES COMMISSION

ELECTRIC RATE SCHEDULE No. 2-S

SEASONAL GENERAL SERVICE

I. APPLICABILITY

This schedule is applicable for the supply of alternating current electricity to all
customers whose kWh consumption during any five consecutive billing months
from June to December, inclusive, is or is expected to be 70% or more of the
customer's total annual kWh consumption. This schedule is not available for
short-term, temporary, breakdown, standby, or supplemental service.

II. MONTHLY RATE

A. Basic Customer Charge per billing month.........................$14.84

B. Energy Charge:

For billing months June through October:


First 750 kWh per billing month .................................14.306 cents/kWh
Next 2,250 kWh plus 150 kWh per kW of
billing demand in excess of 10 kW
per billing month...............................................13.184 cents/kWh
Additional kWh per billing month......................10.647 cents/kWh

For billing months November through May:


First 750 kWh per billing month...................................12.235 cents/kWh
Additional kWh per billing month.................................. 9.382 cents/kWh

C. Minimum Charge:

The monthly minimum charge shall be such as may be contracted for but not
less than $8.78 per kW of billing demand nor less than $14.84 per billing
month.

D. The applicable North Carolina sales tax will be added to all charges listed
above, except billings to Federal and State agencies.

All Energy Charges are subject to tracking adjustments as might be reflected by


NCEMPA’s energy rider. The above Energy Charges include a currently
applicable adjustment of 0.000 cents per kWh plus an additional adjustment to
recover related system losses.

III. DETERMINATION OF BILLING DEMAND

The kW of demand for billing purposes shall be the highest of:

1. The highest average kW measured in any 15-minute interval during the billing
month; or

2. The contract billing demand.

IV. METER READING AND BILLING

Meters may be read in units of 10 kWh and bills rendered accordingly.

V. PAYMENTS

Bills are due when rendered, and subject to a 1% penalty if not paid by the due
date. For additional information, refer to Utility Regulations, Part D, Customer
Service Policy.

VI. TERM OF CONTRACT

Open order unless customer or Commission requests a written contract. In the


case of a written contract, the term shall be such as may be mutually agreed
upon, but not less than one year.
