This unique course focuses on the specific needs of development project officers/managers
working in NGOs, INGOs and other development cooperation projects. It is an opportunity to
develop and improve the planning, management competencies, analytical capabilities and effective
implementation of the projects of a new generation of NGO managers. It will also help the
participants to learn the new strategic and dilemmas faced by NGO’s and identify appropriate
strategies to address them.
Course fee: NPR. 12,000/- which covers participation in the course and reading materials.
Scholarship/Funding: all applicants are requested to seek scholarship or funding from other sources to
partake in this course as organizers are not in position to offer scholarship or funding. Letter of acceptance
could be produced if required to secure funding to participate in this course.
Mode of Payment: Payment has to be made after selection to participate in the course through bank
deposit to ISAS, Kathmandu, Nepal (bank a/c will be provided upon the request)
Recourse Person: National and international experts working in the field of Project Planning and
Management.
IV WEEK • Participants will be divided into small groups and assigned for project work.
Guidance and necessary backstopping will be provided by technical
experts for completion and presentation of the project.
