Pengertian
Teks laporan hasil observasi adalah teks yang berfungsi untuk mendeskripsikan
atau mengklasifikasikan informasi. Teks laporan hasil observasi memuat informasi
mengenai suatu hal secara apa adanya, dengan dikelompokkan dan dianalisis
secara sistematis. Teks laporan hasil observasi dapat menjelaskan suatu hal secara
rinci dan dari sudut pandang keilmuan. Laporan hasil observasi tersebut dapat
berupa hasil riset mendalam tentang tumbuhan, hewan, benda, konsep, atau
ekosistem tertentu.

Teks laporan hasil observasi juga sering dijadikan media untuk mengajak atau berisi
himbauan tentang sesuatu yang positif. Misalnya laporan hasil observasi
lingkungan yang mengamati tentang kebiasaan masyarakat membuang sampah
sembarangan. Informasi yang disajikan tentu mengandung ajakan agar masyarakat
tidak lagi membuang sampah sembarangan.

dipaparkan pada bagian ini. Kalau yang dilaporkan berupa objek, deskripsi
bagian berisi klasifikasi objek dari berbagai segi dan deskripsi manfaat suatu
objek, sifat-sifat khusus objek.
Kaidah Kebahasaan

Kaidah kebahasaan teks laporan hasil observasi terdiri atas hal-hal berikut :

•Menggunakan kata benda atau peristiwa umum sebagai objek utama pemaparannya.
Contoh: Lumba-lumba hidung botol

•Menggunakan kata kerja definisi, seperti adalah, merupakan, yaitu.


Contoh: Lumba-lumba hidung botol merupakan mamalia laut yang dapat hidup 40 –
50 tahun.
Langkah-langkah Menyusun Teks

1 Menentukan topik masalah yang akan diamati atau diteliti.

Merencanakan cara menyelesaikan masalah.

Melakukan pengamatan sesuai dengan masalah yang ditentukan. Hal

3 yang perlu diperhatikan ketika melakukan observasi adalah sebagai


berikut :
•mencatat data yang diperlukan sesuai dengan tujuan laporan,
•melakukan survei tempat atau mencari referensi,
•menemui narasumber bila ada untuk emmeprkuat data,
•mencatat hasil observasi.
Langkah-langkah Menyusun Teks

4 Meneliti ulang hasil pengamatan

5 Membuat kerangka hasil pengamatan, berdasarkan struktur teks


laporan hasil observasi , yaitu pernyataan umum/definisi
umum/klasifikasi umum, deksripsi bagian, dan kesimpulan.
Menyusun laporan hasil observasi atau mengembangkan
kerangka laporan menjadi laporan yang baik sesuai dengan

6 kaidah kebahasaan teks laporan, Perhatikan pula penggunaan


ejaan dan tanda baca, serta kata baku.

Membenahi atau menyunting teks laporan hasil observasi.


Hal ini bertujuan untuk mengoreksi kesalahan-kesalahan

7 yang mungkin ada dalam tulisan, baik yang berkaitan dengan


isi, struktur, ataupun penggunaan kaidah bahasanya.
