In July 2009, I completed my final year in Finance & Accounts at the University of Kent. I had an
interest in finance with my degree helping me to further this interest. The modules I chose
involved many aspects of the financial world, and in my final year, I completed modules specific
to Pension Funds and Life Assurance.
I have good office and IT skills from my brief work experience with Lloyds Bank for about 2 years
where I developed excellent customer service skills in these positions, dealing with customers
over the phone and in person.
In my final year of my degree course, I completed a thesis and to interpret the results based on
the acquired data, I learnt the use of statistical package which enabled me the confidence of
learning new skills quickly scoring 66%. Besides, the thesis warranted me to be competent in my
use of MS Windows packages particularly Excel and Word. I gave a presentation of my results to
students and staff using PowerPoint presentation and gained confidence to speak in front of an
audience.
