Proses..

Big data adalah kumpulan proses yang terdiri volume data


dalam jumlah besar yang terstruktur maupun tidak terstruktur
dan digunakan untuk membantu kegiatan bisnis. Big data
sendiri merupakan pengembangan dari sistem database
pada umumnya. Yang membedakan disini adalah proses
kecepatan, volume, dan jenis data yang tersedia lebih
banyak dan bervariatif daripada DBMS (Database
Management System) pada umumnya.

1. Volume, Big data yaitu sistem yang memiliki


ukuran (volume) sangat besar, data ini biasanya akan
selalu bertambah setiap hari dan biasanya juga akan
melebihi kapasitas server biasa.

2. Variety, Selain itu, big data memiliki tipe data


yang beragam (variety), meliputi data terorganisir
dan data yang tidak terorganisir.

3. Velocity, Big data harus diproses dengan cepat


(velocity) sehingga dapat menghasilkan data yang
aktual dan terbarukan.
