A Call back to the foundations of our faith in
Jesus Christ
Use your authority-Satan must obey. Demons
don't have a choice. They tremble and run when we
talk and agree with the Word of God. It is God's will
for you to be free from every evil influence of the
devil.

4. Through His delegated authority.

"In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, when you
are gathered together, and my spirit with the power of
our Lord Jesus Christ, to deliver such a one to Satan
for the destruction of the flesh, that the spirit may be
saved in the day of the Lord Jesus" (1Cor. 5: 4, 5).
[In the name of our Lord Jesus] Who is the head
of the church; and under whose authority every act is
to be performed?
There is an alarming onslaught of deceiving
spirits attacking the Church of Jesus Christ. The Apostle Paul reveals these special
manifestations of evil spirits through prophecies that point to the deception of Christian believers
in the latter times. These deceptions are showing up in the supernatural realms. Many are

Pat Holliday PhD. Pat Holliday PhD. was born in Jacksonville Florida. She is
the widow of Dr. Vadim P. Holliday, mother of three, grandmother, and
great-grandmother. She was called into the ministry in 1975 and has

following teaching ministers that are sending forth an army of teaching spirits that are leading
people away from their biblically based spiritual knowledge of Jesus Christ.
Nevertheless, spiritual blindness and through lack of knowledge, many are not able to carry
out a full war against this army of wicked spirits. Many are shrinking from the subject of demons
and call the war against them not credible. They believe that if Jesus Christ is preached, it is not
necessary to give attention to the existence of the devil. They think that they can ignore him.
(Jam. 4:7-8), "Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you."
Many Christians have never been taught the power of Jesus Christ. They believe that they
never enter into direct conflict with Satan and his hosts. The church has actually been blinded by
the powers of darkness and multitudes are being bound. Scriptural answers are not practiced in
the lives of the people.
The clash between Satan and Jesus Son of God in the first Gospel is an ongoing one. Satan
is characterized as "the strong man" and Jesus, the Son of God, in that He casts out demons by
the Holy Spirit and brings people into the sphere of God's reign, as one who "binds" him and
"plunders his goods" (Matt. 12; 28-29 cf. also 8:39). Conversely, Satan and those who do his
bidding are depicted as doing violence to the kingdom of heaven as "plundering" it (Matt.
11:12). A case in point, is Satan's enlistment of Peter in an effort to put Jesus at cross-purposes
with his Father and to turn him away from the path that leads to the cross, (Matt. 16:21-23).
It is precisely to fend off onslaughts of Satan such as this that Jesus teaches his disciples to
pray (Matt. 6:130."And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one" or ("from
evil"). On another level, Satan also exercises his malevolent will against Jesus through the
Israelite crowds, (Matt. 11:16; 12:29, 16: 4), and their leaders', (Matt. 16:1; 19:2; 22:18. 35; 23,
15); who asks Jesus for a sign or who tempt Him, not the least while he is hanging on the cross,
(Matt. 27:39-42).
Indeed through a parable of Jesus, Matthew makes the programmatic observation that Satan
is the personal "enemy" of Jesus Messiah, who has usurped in Israel the allegiance that is due
Jesus alone, (Matt. 13:24-30). Nevertheless, as the story of the temptation at the beginning of the
Gospel adumbrates, the repeated attacks of Satan are not sufficient to induce Jesus to divest
himself of His divine Son ship and to bring Him from his mission, (Matt. 16:21).

RETURN TO BIBLE BASICS

The Christian must return to biblical basics and biblical doctrines have always been
important features of training the Saints to be strong and able to stand firm in God's cause. Jesus
Christ, as presented by The Father and also Jesus' testimony is according to the Word, "And
Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, "All power is given to me in heaven and in earth . . .
“(Matt. 28:18). He is revealed as Deity with absolute sovereignty and authority over the
universe for eternity.

DEMON CONSCIOUSNESS

Don't become Demon conscious- Become Jesus Christ centered.

"For your obedience is come abroad unto all men. I am glad therefore on your behalf; yet I
would have you side unto that which is good, and simple concerning evil. And the God of peace
shall bruise Satan under your feet shortly." (Rom. 16:19, 20).

 Paul urges the Church wisdom regarding that which is good; he suggests that the Christian
maintain simpleness about evil. The Christian has to recognize that he cannot fully describe or
define the scope of God in His grace.
Deliverance is about cleaning, rebuilding faith in Jesus … and being free from the
torments of devils. It’s not about devils and their power and their name and their legal
grounds. DEMONS HAVE NO LEGAL GROUNDS WHEN A PERSON BECOMES
BORN AGAIN AND THEY HAVE TO OBEY THE NAME OF JESUS AND GO!
Deliverance is about Jesus’ name and His power to cleanse and make a person free and
whole.
John 8:36, "If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed." KJV
Yes, you can be free!
Luke 4:18, “The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach
the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to
the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,”
KJV
It’s a fellowship with Jesus Christ...
Nothing gives the believer so much joy as fellowship with Christ. The joy of the Lord is
solid and enduring; no wine can rival the love of Jesus. Let us drink to the full this evening.
