ABSTRAK
ABSTRACT
In South Sumatra, maternal mortality rates are still high. In 2006 there were 424
per 100,000 births, far above the maternal mortality rate in Indonesia. The
occurrence of pre-eclampsia can be prevented from becoming more severe.
These efforts can be carried out by carrying out a minimum of four pregnancy
examinations four times regularly according to the guidelines for antenatal care.
Based on a preliminary study conducted on 6 pregnant women who conduct an
examination at the Independent Practice Midwife "MALIAH" found that local
pregnant women rarely conduct direct pregnancy checks based on provisions
that have been notified to Pregnant Women. This study aims to determine the
behavior in efforts to prevent preeclampsia in the Midwife Practices of "Maliah"
Palembang in 2017. This study uses a quantitative analytic survey research
design with a cross sectional study approach. The population of this research is
all pregnant women and maternity mothers. The research sample is pregnant
women and maternity with inclusion and exclusion criteria. namely pregnant
women with TM II gestational age, postpartum mothers who have experienced
preeclampsia and are willing to be respondents. The exclusion criteria were
pregnant women TM I and TM II and were willing to become respondents. Data
