This is a continuous band of color, which is used to help people find the building they’re looking for.

Each wayfinding device has a line that stretches from the left to the right, representative of a continuous band of ten colors each distinguishing a specific Kansas City Art Institute building to help
the viewer on their journey.
the continuous line is derived from the outlined perimeter.

20 feet: 9pt stroke line

50 feet: 3pt stroke line

100 feet: 1pt stroke line

The thickness of the continuous line is dependent on the viewer's proximity to the buildings entry points.
