Typhus Abdominalis (demam tifoid,enteric fever) ialah penyakit infeksi akut yang biasanya
mengenai saluran pencernaan dengan gejala demam yang lebih dari satu minggu, gangguan
pada pencernaan, dan gangguan kesadaran. Penyebab penyakit ini adalah salmonella typhosa,
basil gram negative yang bergerak dengan bulu getar, tidak berspora. Mempunyai sekurang-
