Phlebotomy:
 For most of clinical examination blood samples from the patients is requirement and
can be obtained by general techniques such as venipuncture. Skin puncture by using
evacuated blood collection system (Vacutainer) or by non-evacuated blood collection
system-syringe and skin prick.
Hematology:
 Responsible for all Hematology Section & Quality Control.
 Introducing Fully Automated Machines "CELL DYN 3700","SYSMEX SF-3000" &
ADVIA 2120.
 Supervising preventive maintenance of machines daily, weekly & monthly.
 CBC & Differential Count, Sickle cell, Malaria, Reticulocyte count.
 Electrophoresis (Hemoglobin & Serum Protein).
 Performing with Q.C. All Coagulation Studies. Using the Fully Automated
"BEHRING COAGULATION TIMER" & "BEHRING FIBRINTIMER A".
Blood Bank:
 Performing ABO & RH typing, Cross-Matching, Direct/Indirect Combs, Antibody
screening, Antibody titers, using the "DIAMED" & “GRIFOLS” DG GEL micro typing
card system & all QC indicators.
 Preparation of different blood components such as Fresh Frozen Plasma, Platelet
concentrates, etc.
