A Mother’s Joy

 A budding flower
 A warm hug
 The sunshine
 A baby’s smile
 The see her baby take their first steps
 Coming home and her husband having dinner prepared
 God revealing Himself through the Word
 A day out with a friend
 A surprise lunch call from her husband
 God’s presence in personal prayer
 A hug from her son
 A homemade card
 Presented a wild flower
 Hearing the words, “I love you”
 Her teenager telling her, “She’s cool!”
 A lunch date with her grownup daughter
 The dishes washed for her
 A great babysitter
 Seeing her children successful in school
 Observing her child’s compassion towards another
 An obedient child
 Spending time with her family
 Seeing her husband spend time with their children
 Being presented a single rose
 A box of chocolates from her husband
 Just being a mom to her children through the sorrow,
joy, and frustration of life of raising her children
