1. Simple present tense adalah tenses yang digunakan ketika suatu kejadian sedang

berlangsung saat ini atau kejadian yang berlangsung berulang kali (kebiasaan).

Contohnya : Susi Pudjiastuti is the Ministry of Maritime Affairs and

Fisheries (+),Susi Pudjiastuti is not the Ministry of Maritime Affairs and

Fisheries (-),Is Susi Pudjiastuti the Ministry of Maritime Affairs and

2. Present continuous tense adalah bentuk tense yang digunakan untuk

menyatakan bahwa suatu aksi sedang berlangsung selama waktu tertentu

pada waktu sekarang (present). Bentuk ini menunjukkan bahwa aksi

tersebut terjadi sebelum (begins before), selama (is in progress at the

present), dan berlanjut setelah (continues after)  waktu atau aksi lainnya.

Contohnya :

(+)She is writing a novel.

(-)She isn’t writing a letter.

(?)Is she writing a letter?

3. Presents perfect tense gunakan untuk menunjukkan bahwa suatu kejadian

atau peristiwa dapat dimulai pada masa lampau atau masa lalu.

(?)Has your brother started a new business?

4. Simple past tense adalah kalimat tenses yang digunakan untuk menyatakan

kejadian yang terjadi di masa lampau dan telah berakhir di masa lampau.

Contohnya :

(+) She worked yesterday

(-)She didn’t work yesterday

(?)Did she work yesterday?

5. Simple future tense adalah kalimat tenses yang digunakan untuk menunjukkan

kejadian yang belum terjadi atau akan terjadi di masa depan dan berakhir di masa

depan. Contohnya :

II.

My activities from morning to night. After waking up, I wake up at dawn

prayer and continue morning activities such as preparing breakfast and then

getting ready to receive lectures even though they are online. After the lecture

ended I took a break while preparing lunch, after that I continued with a nap. My

activities in the afternoon after the Asar prayer clean the yard, wash the dishes and

then relax and enjoy the afternoon. and my activities at night working on lecture

assignments to completion and then rushing to sleep.
