Examination Venues:

1. At Delhi center, the Examination will be conducted at UPSC Examination Hall, Dholpur House,
Shahjahan Road, New Delhi.

2. At Mumbai centre, the Examination will be conducted at Thakur Institute of Aviation Technology,
Thakur Complex, 90 Feet Road, Kandivili (E), Mumbai - 400101 (Phone No: 022 - 28542481).

3. At Ahmedabad center, the examination will be conducted at Western India Institute of

Aeronautics, Indus Campus, Rancharda, Via Thaltej, Ahmedabad – 382115, Gujarat.

4. At Amritsar center, the examination will be conducted at Amritsar Aviation Club, International
Airport – Rajasansi, Amritsar 143101.

5. Candidates appearing at Bangalore Centre, should contact the Office of Director of

Airworthiness, Bangalore at Telephone No 080 - 25223542 / 25228475 for Venue of Examination.

6. Candidates appearing at Chennai Centre, should contact the Office of Director of Airworthiness,
Chennai at Telephone No 044 - 22560179 / 22560731 for Venue of Examination.

7. Candidates appearing at other Examination Centres should contact the concerned DGCA
Regional / Sub-Regional Offices for venue of examination.

Instructions/Rules Regarding carrying/use of mobile

phones

• Mobile phones, electronic wrist watches, wrist watch phones, pagers, pen scanners
or any other communication devices even in switched off mode are not allowed
inside the premises where the DGCA examination is being conducted. Any
infringement of these instructions shall entail disciplinary action including ban from
future examinations.

• Candidates are advised in their own interest not to bring any of the banned item
including Mobile phones, electronic wrist watches, wrist watch phones, pagers, pen
scanners or any other communication devices to the venue of the DGCA
examination, as arrangement for safekeeping can not be assured.

IMPORTANT ADDITIONAL INSTRUCTIONS TO CANDIDATES

THIS IS IMPORTANT
ACTION AGAINST CANDIDATES FOUND GUILTY OF MISCONDUCT:

A candidate who is or has been declared by the DGCA to be guilty of:

(i) Obtaining support of his/her candidature by any means, or Impersonating, or
(ii) Procuring impersonation by any person, or Using unfair means during the
Examination, Answering Question paper which is not alloted.
(iii) Making statements which are incorrect or false or suppressing material
information, or
(iv) Writing irrelevant matter including obscene language on answer sheets/objection
slips/ reproducing questions from the question paper
(V) Misbehaving in any other manner in the examination hall or harassing or doing
bodily harm to the staff deputed by the DGCA for the conduct of examination, or
(Vi) Bringing Mobile phones, electronic wrist watches, wrist watch phones, pagers, pen
scanners or any other communication devices in the examination Hall.

Attempting to commit or, as the case may be, abetting the DGCA of all or any
of the acts specified in the foregoing clauses, the candidate may be:

(a) Disqualified by the DGCA from examination for which he/she is a candidate,
and/or
(b) Debarred either permanently or for a specified period by the DGCA from any
examination.
• Candidates appearing at All Centres of Pilots License Written Examination shall have to carry a
Photo Identity Card issued by DGCA for entry into the Examination Hall. This Photo Identity
Card shall be issued to only those candidates, who are admitted for the written
examination. Any discrepancy observed in the allotted category / paper, the candidate
may inform to CEO by speed post/E-mail on or before 25th April 2011.
• DGCA Regional / Sub-Regional Offices shall issue the Photo Identity Card to the candidates
appearing at the examination centres under their jurisdiction. The procedure for issue of Photo
Identity Card is given below. Candidates are advised to download the form given below and fill
in the required information and paste their passport size photograph at the given space.
Candidates must bring any one of the following Photo Identity proof; Passport, PPL,
CPL(issued by DGCA), Airport PIC, Pan card, Voter ID and I-Card issued by serving
organization and downloaded page of the web site list of admitted candidates on which their
name appears along with the completed form to their respective DGCA Regional / Sub-Regional
Offices for issue of DGCA Photo Identity Card.
• Candidates may note that the Photo Identity Card shall be issued before the examination dates
i.e upto 28th April 2011 at respective DGCA Regional / Sub-Regional Airworthiness
Offices only. Candidates are therefore advised to ensure that they get their Photo Identity
Cards issued on or before the above mentioned date. Photo Identity Card shall not be issued
at the examination venue.
• Photo Identity Card for candidates appearing at Delhi Centre shall be issued at O/o the
Director of Airworthiness, IGI Airport, New Delhi, up to 28th April 2011. In addition, the
candidates of Delhi centre (only), can also get their Photo Identity Card issued at Central
Examination Organization, (CEO) East Block - 3, Level - III, R.K. Puram, New Delhi on any
working day between 1500 hrs to 1700 hrs.
• It may be noted that the candidates who do not possess the Photo Identity Card, issued by
DGCA, shall not be permitted to enter the Examination Hall.
