Skripsi dengan judul “Penanda Kohesi dan Koherensi serta Nilai Pedidikan
Karakter dalam Teks Narasi pada Buku Bahasa Indonesia Kelas IX Kurikulum
2013 Edisi Revisi 2018” ini ditulis oleh Hilma Zuhrotun Nisa, NIM.

Penelitian ini membahas mengenai jenis nilai pendidikan karakter dan jenis
kohesi, koherensi yang ada dalam teks narasi buku Bahasa Indonesia kelas IX
Kurikulum 2013 edisi revisi 2018. Teks narasi dinyatakan sebagai salah satu
kemampuan bersastra, yang mempunyai fungsi utama yaitu memperhalus budi
pekerti, meningkatkan rasa kemanusiaan, kepedulian sosial, menumbuhkan
apresiasi budaya, serta menyalurkan gagasan imajinatif ekspresi baik secara lisan
maupun tulisan.
Rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah 1) Jenis kohesi apa sajakah yang
digunakan dalam teks narasi pada buku Bahasa Indonesia kelas IX kurikulum
2013 edisi revisi 2018, 2) Jenis koherensi apa sajakah yang digunakan dalam teks
narasi pada buku Bahasa Indonesia kelas IX kurikulum 2013 edisi revisi 2018, 3)
Bagaimanakah nilai pendidikan karakter dalam teks narasi buku Bahasa Indonesia
kelas IX kurikulum 2013 tingkat SMP edisi revisi 2018.
Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif.
Sumber data penelitian berupa teks narasi yang ada dalam buku Bahasa Indonesia
kelas IX Kurikulum 2013 edisi revisi 2018. Data ini berupa penanda kohesi,
penanda koherensi, dan nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter. Pengumpulan data
dilakukan dengan observasi dan studi literatur.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 1) analisis kohesi ditemukan dalam teks
narasi buku Bahasa Indonesia kelas IX kurikulum 2013 edisi revisi 2018 berupa
kohesi gramatikal dan kohesi leksikal. Kohesi gramatikal meliputi: referensi,
subtitusi, dan konjungsi. Kohesi leksikal meliputi: repetisi, sinonimi, antonimi,
hiponimi. 2) Koherensi berpenanda meliputi: kausalitas, kontras, rincian,
temporal, kronologis. Koherensi tidak berpenanda meliputi: informatif. 3) nilai
pendidikan meliputi: kerja keras, disiplin, religius, cinta damai, peduli sosial,
menghargai prestasi, peduli lingkungan, rasa ingin tahu, mandiri, jujur, kreatif,
dan gemar membaca.

This study discussed the types of character education values and the types of
cohesion, coherence that exist in the narrative text of the Indonesian language
book class IX Curriculum 2013 revised edition 2018. Narrative text is stated as
one of the literary abilities, which has the main function of refining character,
increasing humanity, social care, fostering cultural appreciation, and channeling
imaginative ideas for expression both orally and in writing.
The formulation of the problem in this study are 1) What types of cohesion are
used in narrative texts in the revised 2013 edition of the Indonesian language
book class IX 2013 curriculum, 2) What types of coherence are used in narrative
texts in the revised 2013 edition of the Indonesian language book class IX
curriculum 2013 2018, 3) What is the value of character education in the narrative
text of the Indonesian language book class IX 2013 curriculum for the revised
2018 edition of the Junior High School.
This study used a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. The source of
research data is in the form of narrative texts in the Indonesian language book
class IX 2013 Curriculum 2018 revised edition. This data is in the form of
cohesion markers, coherence markers, and character education values. Data was
collected by observation and literature study.
The results showed that 1) the cohesion analysis found in the narrative text of the
Indonesian language book class IX 2013 curriculum revision 2018 edition in the
form of grammatical cohesion and lexical cohesion. Grammatical cohesion
includes: references, substitutions, and conjunctions. Lexical cohesion includes:
repetition, synonymy, antonym, hyponymy. 2) Marked coherence includes:
causality, contrast, detail, temporal, chronological. Unmarked coherence includes:
informative. 3) educational values include: hard work, discipline, religious,
peace-loving, social care, respect for achievement, care for the environment,
curiosity, independence, honesty, creativity, and love of reading.
