OPC Team to Japan - Day #1 Report: The team met up with Cal
Cummings. He took us to see the damage to the home of a
"seeker" of the Sendai church. She seemed quite moved to have
this team consider her need, shop for tools and material and then
return to repair her house (some beams had pulled apart from each
other). In the afternoon, we met with Pastor Yoshida, the
moderator of the Northeast Presbytery and pastor of the Sendai
church...along with two members of the RPCNA-Japan. We had a
very fruitful discussion of what things we could be doing to help.
Tomorrow, we drive north from Sendai.
