2011 Cecil Get away and Meeting

Thank You Tom & Michele for setting this up again this year and like always
we all had a great time just to see everyone after a long and nasty winter. It
was nice just to sit around eat, talk, eat ,talk, drink, drink , eat ,talk well you
understand right. This is always nice so we all can sit down talk things over
have fun and find out what everyone might be planning for the summer for
rides or parties.
Here we used some of the 50/50 to buy some pizza and it was great. I even
had a piece of it this time. I hope we can do this again next year just for the
reasons above. We are a family and like to have fun, keep this in your minds
for next year so we can get even more of our group to show up. Thanks for
everyone that did make it and for the rest that could not we all understand
that all of us can not make every event we have. Hope you were having fun like
we were is all that counts. Until Next year

10:15 and ride to Shawano and ride up thru the Indian

placement and general repairs. If I can do it I will tell you yes or no. Save money on
your repairs let me have a chance to work on your bike.

MORE 2011 WINTER GET AWAY IN CECIL WISCONSIN

This is our group for this event sitting around talking and planning
rides for 2011. I see Michele & Buz Playing Cards and Tom Is thinking
of taking a swim and we had great pizza again this year

This year watch the weather

I just wanted to tell everyone that when you are riding this year local or
cross country please watch the weather when you are on the road. With
the way the weather is changing for the worse if you see bad weather
coming you would be better off to find a place to stay and be off the roads
until the weather passes. John & Nancy Frisch and Bonnie & I know what
can happen when you stay on the road when you can see the storm
coming but we thought it was just a rain storm but we ran into a tornado
and we were lucky to find a home and a building to hide behind and go in.
Our bikes were getting blown over by the winds and the rain was straight
sideways with big hail, Not Good to be in that anywhere but worse when
you are on your bike riding. So just wanted to remind everyone to watch
the weather all the time when you are on a ride and just to be safe.

Hope to NEVER SEE THIS Were is the rain suit

A little Motorcycle History from the past

Wild Bill (Sonny) Gelbke
Green Bay. I use to help Sonny build
and take bikes apart in Green Bay
when I was 12 years old , He lived just
down the block from our home on the
west side of Green Bay. First 4 cylin-
der with a auto trans built in the late
60’s That Bill Gelbke Build. I always
had fun hanging around his garage.
