Tanpa terasa sudah hampir 1 Tahun usia pernikahan kami.

Waktu yang
masih sangat pendek mengingat perjalanan yang akan kami tempuh nanti.
Banyak orang berpendapat , di awal-awal pernikahan semua memang
terasa menyenangkan, pengantin baru, mereka menyebutnya. Well, may
be they are right, but I have another opinion… katakanlah memang seperti
itu, yaah kita generalisir saja fakta bahwa yang namanya baru nikah
pastilah merupakan saat-saat yang menyenangkan. Kecuali untuk kasus
tertentu mungkin, seperti nikah terpaksa (hehehe). Knowing your life
mate is not an easy one…konflik pasti ga bisa dihindari, yang namanya dua
orang beda segala-galanya ya pasti akan muncul sedikit bahkan mungkin banyak konflik. The question is,
is it the conflict that drives from the differences between our couple and us that we are afraid of? Jika
ini masalahnya, maka solusinya adalah DON’T GET MARRIED….hiii serem ya (heuu). Masalahnya, mau
nikah ato ga nikah tetep aja Allah akan menguji kita dengan kesulitan-kesulitan atau permasalahan
hidup. Demikian juga dengan pernikahan. Jadi yang perlu dijadikan focus perhatian adalah, cara kita
mengatasi permasalahan-permasalahan atau konflik yang mungkin akan terjadi. Tujuan dan niat adalah
landasan dari sebuah aksi. Ketika niat dan tujuan menikah adalah A misalnya, maka jalan yang ditempuh
untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut ya harus mengarah ke A. Dalam Islam, menikah adalah ibadah, jika niat
dan tujuan ini yang menjadi landasan, maka jalan/system/metode yang digunakan haruslah sesuai
dengan apa yang diinginkan islam mengenai pernikahan. Saya tidak tidak akan membahas mengenai hal
ini di sini, tapi pada tulisan yang lain.
Terkadang kita sering ditakut-takuti oleh hal yang sebenarnya bisa kita hindari jika kita
punya pijakan yang benar untuk bisa terhindar dari hal-hal tersebut. Contoh kasus, banyak perempuan-
perempuan yang akhirnya merasa takut untuk menikah karena permasalahan dalam keluarganya, mulai
dari KDRT, Poligami, dll.

Ada kekaguman tersendiri terhadap para orang tua atau pasangan yang bertahan sampai
usia lanjut, mendapat gelar kakek dan nenek atau bahkan sampai terpisah karena salah satu telah
bertemu dengan Tuhannya. How do they do that? Hmmm… jawabannya bisa beragam.

Ada keluarga yang memang bisa mencapai dan mempertahankan sakinah mawadah wa rahmah dalam
keluarganya. Ada juga yang bertahan dalam penderitaan mungkin satu-satunya hal yang tidak membuat
mereka berpisah adalah anak misalnya, atau karena status, atau karena salah satu pihak merasa tidak
akan mampu untuk bertahan sendirian atau tidak mau menyandang gelar janda/duda.
