1. Job Responsibilities with Huawei Telecom India Pvt. Ltd.

 Handling the NMS for Idea Project for Kolkata and Rowb.
 E1 planning and provisioning of all the 20 BSC’s for Kolkata and Rowb.
 Commissioning of RTN’s and OSN’s through NMS.
 Alarms handling and fault escalation to the concerned authorities.
 Weekly collection of RSL,Capacity, Alarm logs and performance report.
 Microwave Hop’s up gradation for relaxation of capacity constraint.
 Conversion of 1+0 hops to 1+1 HSB through NMS during a P.E window.
 Migration and Rehoming of different BSC’s.
 Regular TRX balancing subrackwise in the BSC’s.
 Effective execution of planned event for creation and visibility of GNE.
 Provisioning of ATER , SGSN, and OSS E1, for new BSC integration.
 Technical support to Site Engineers and Subvendors.
 Coordinating with a team of 25 persons to achieve the set targets.

2. Job responsibilities with Ericsson India Pvt. Ltd.

 Responsible for maintenance and troubleshooting of Ericsson RBS

(2206/2204/2204V2/V3, 2964, 2954), Ericsson RBSC, Ericsson Mini link–E,
Ericsson High Cap SDH radios for back bone of sites and Traffic Node.
 Performs coordination with Bsnl and other Govt. bodies regarding POI, BTS,
Microwave ,site troubles and other network problems.
 Monitor the execution of scheduled P.M for Electrical and Telecom equipments
as per plan for the smooth operation of N/W.
 Collecting of DCN data through different microwave equipment.
 Collection of data for routine AGC, alarm logs and performance repot.
 Microwave Hop’s up gradation for relaxation of capacity constraint.
 Software up gradation of different transmission equipments.
 Responsible for Preventive Maintenance, Routine check up of Electronics and
Electrical equipments for proper functioning.
 Responsible for Acceptance test (AT) of BTS and Microwave sites from
Customer.
 Analysis of the coverage constraints, as per the complaints being imposed from
customer end.
 Coordination with 5 member operational team for managing Electrical
equipments, DG, Battery bank, Smps.
 Alarm patching and verification.
 Measurement & calibration of VSWR using Site Master.
 Rectification of Network performance related issue on air interface eg. Diversity
issue and VSWR issue.
 Alarm monitoring using Winfiol tool and RBS fault Decoder.
 Handling TN(2P, 6P, 20P),MMU, NPU, LTU,SMU, Hi-cap, AXX Edge, AXX

Major Activities:

 Rehomed Habra BSC, Asansol BSC, Jalpaiguri BSC, Shibpur BSC by

configuring the E1’s through BSC’s OSN and RTN.
 Implemented SNCP on various rings and verified it with the customer.
 Conversion of 1+0 hops to 1+1 HSB for backbone sites in Kolkata and Rowb.
 Migrated Raiganj RBSC’s sites which were initially in Malda RBSC.
