 System Trouble Test

 Power Supply Test


Mains Test (AC 220 v.)
Disconnect the 220 AC volt
 Green AC Power LED LABLE OFF
 The LCD Display will indicate AC FAULT
 Yellow Trouble LED LABLE ON
 Internal Buzzer Sound
Press ACK/STEP Button to mute internal buzzer
Battery Test
Disconnect the Battery
 Green AC Power LED ON
 The LCD Display will indicate NO BATTERY
 Yellow Trouble LED ON
 Internal Buzzer Sound
Press ACK/STEP Button to mute internal buzzer

 Earth Fault Test


Connect any cable to a steel conduit
 Green AC Power LED ON
 Yellow System Trouble LED ON
 Internal Buzzer Sound

Press ACK/STEP Button to mute internal buzzer


 Initiating Zones Trouble Test
Disconnect any detector from its base, disconnect any wire from zone 1 or 2

 Green AC Power LED ON


 The LCD Display will indicate OPEN FAULT(Open 2- wire smoke)
 Yellow Trouble LED ON
 Internal Buzzer Sound
Press ACK/STEP Button to mute internal buzzer

 Manual Release Trouble Test


Disconnect Manual Release from zone 3

 Green AC Power LED ON


 LCD Display will indicate OPEN FAULT (Open Rel)
 Yellow Trouble LED ON
 Internal Buzzer Sound
Press ACK/STEP Button to mute internal buzzer

 Abort Release SW Trouble Test


Disconnect Manual Release from zone 4

 Green AC Power LED ON


 LCD Display will indicate OPEN FAULT (Open Abort Rel SW)
 Yellow Trouble LED ON
 Internal Buzzer Sound
Press ACK/STEP Button to mute internal buzzer

 Notification Appliance Trouble Test


Disconnect the Bell or Siren from its base, disconnect any wire from O/P 1&2

 Green AC Power LED ON


 LCD Display will indicate OPEN FAULT (Open NAC 1&2)
 Yellow Trouble LED ON
 Internal Buzzer Sound
Press ACK/STEP Button to mute internal buzzer
 Releasing Circuits Trouble Test
Disconnect any wire from O/P 3&4

 Green AC Power LED ON


 LCD Display will indicate OPEN FAULT (Open NAC 3&4)
 Yellow Trouble LED ON
 Circuit Trouble LED ON
 Internal Buzzer Sound
Press ACK/STEP Button to mute internal buzzer

 System Alarm & Releasing Test
Disconnect the Electric Actuator from the cylinder valve

 Test Zone 1 or Zone 2 (Alarm Test)


Test any Detector from zone 1 or zone 2 using recommended test magnet
 Green AC Power LED ON
 LCD Display will indicate ALARM 2-Wire Smoke
 Internal Buzzer Sound
 1-st Alarm Notification Circuit Activated (BELL) O/P1

Press ACK/STEP Button to mute internal buzzer


Press Alarm Silence Button to Silence the Bell
Press Rest Button to Rest the system

 Test Zone 1 and Zone 2 (Releasing Test)


Test any Detector from zone 1 and zone 2 using recommended test magnet

 Green AC Power LED ON


 LCD Display will indicate ALARM 2-Wire Smoke
 Internal Buzzer Sound
 1-st Alarm Notification Circuit Activated (BELL) O/P1
 2-nd Alarm Notification Circuit Activated (SIREN) O/P2
 Releasing Circuit Activated After The Delay Time O/P3
 Check the operation of the Electric Actuator.

Press ACK/STEP Button to mute internal buzzer


Press Alarm Silence Button to Silence the Bell and the Siren
Press Rest Button to Rest the system
 Test Zone 1 and Zone 2 (Releasing Test with Abort)
Test any Detector from zone 1 and zone 2 using recommended test magnet

 Green AC Power LED ON


 LCD Display will indicate ALARM 2-Wire Smok
 Internal Buzzer Sound
 1-st Alarm Notification Circuit Activated (BELL) O/P1
 2-nd Alarm Notification Circuit Activated (SIREN) O/P2
 Press and Hold the Abort switch for 2 sec.
 Releasing Circuit Activated After The Delay Time (FROM 30Sec to 20MIN)
 Check the operation of the Electric Actuator.

Press ACK/STEP Button to mute internal buzzer


Press Alarm Silence Button to Silence the Bell and the Siren
Press Rest Button to Rest the system

 Manual Release Test (Releasing Test)


Push In and Pull Down the manual gas release

 Green AC Power LED ON


 Internal Buzzer Sound
 2-nd Alarm Notification Circuit Activated (SIREN) O/P2
 Releasing Circuit Activated Immediately O/P3

Press ACK/STEP Button to mute internal buzzer


Press Alarm Silence Button to Silence the Bell
Press Rest Button to Rest the system

6-3.2.1 High Pressures system


All piping from the carbon dioxide supply to the nozzle shall be subjected to a
minimum pressure of 600 psig (4137 Kpa). The leakage during a 2-mintee period
shall not exceed a pressure drop of 10 percent
