 Karyawan berhak tahu ttg bahaya bahan kimia di tempat
kerja.
 Manajemen wajib memberikan kepada karyawannya :
training yg sesuai, Informasi, PPE dan factor safety lainnya
terkait bahaya bahan kimia.
 Karyawan perlu :
 Mengikuti training secara serious.
 Baca Label dan MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheets)
 Tahu kemana mencari MSDS.
 Gunakan PPE yang sesuai.

Material Safety Datasheet (MSDS)
 Adalah dokumen tentang satu bahan kimia yang harus
ada pada industri yang membuat , menyimpan, atau
mengguna-kannya, yang memberikan informasi tentang
bahan kimia tsb.
 Sebagai informasi acuan bagi para pekerja dan supervisor
yang menangani langsung dan mengelola bahan kimia
berbahaya dlm industri/lab. kimia.
 Diharapkan pekerja mempunyai naluri untuk mencegah
dan menghindari serta mampu menanggulangi
kecelakaan kimia yang mungkin terjadi.
 Informasi ini agar bersikap hati-hati dalam menangani
bahan kimia berbahaya.

Material Safety Datasheet (MSDS)
 Setiap bahan kimia harus dilengkapi dengan MSDS.
 Pihak manufaktur harus melengkapi setiap bahan kimia
yang di produksinya dengan MSDS.
 Tujuannya untuk mengkomunikasikan informasi tentang
bahan kimia tersebut serta cara bekerja yang aman
dengan bahan tersebut.
 Sebelum menggunakan bahan kimia baru, karyawan harus
membaca MSDS bahan tersebut terlebih dahulu.
 Lokasi penempatan MSDS : MSDS harus dapat diakses
oleh karyawan setiap saat diperlukan !!!!.
