SUMBER KUTIPAN
Format Penulisan Sumber Kutipan dan Daftar Pustaka yang digunakan dalam pembuatan
karya ilmiah di Stikosa-AWS adalah menggunakan format American Psychological
Association (APA). Alasan penggunaan format ini dikarenakan pendekatan Ilmu Sosial
biasanya menggunakan format APA untuk pengacuan sumber dan penulisan daftar
pustaka.

Format APA yang digunakan dalam Panduan Sitasi ini bersumber dari Publication Manual of
the American Psychological Association, 6th ed. serta mengacu pada format yang diambil
dari http://www.apastyle.org/

Dengan digunakan format APA di lingkungan Stikosa-AWS diharapkan karya ilmiah yang
dihasilkan oleh Sivitas Akademika seperti Skripsi, Laporan Magang, tugas perkuliahan,
artikel ilmiah maupun jenis karya ilmiah lainnya, ketika harus menulis kutipan dari sumber
yang kredibel dan dapat dipertanggung jawabkan, seragam dan diberlakukan sama.

Aturan dasar penulisan Daftar Pustaka adalah sebagai berikut:

1) Daftar Pustaka diketik spasi tunggal;
2) jarak antara entri judul adalah satu spasi;
3) baris pertama setiap entri rata kiri, baris kedua dan seterusnya lebih masuk lima
karakter (½ inci).
4) Daftar pustaka mulai pertama hingga terakhir harus berurutan secara alphabet.
5) Jika terdapat lebih dari satu artikel dari penulis yang sama, maka diurutkan secara
kronologis mulai dari yang terbaru hingga yang lebih lama.
6) Standar format :

Nama pengarang paling belakang, Nama pengarang paling depan diikuti

Nama tengah. (Tahun terbit). Judul. Tempat terbit: nama penerbit.

Jika tidak ada nama penulis, tulis 2 (dua) kata pertama (biasanya judul tulisan) dan
tahun penulisan.
Gunakan tanda kutip (“...”) pada judul artikel atau judul bab dan halaman website
atau gunakan huruf cetak miring (italic) pada buku, brosur, laporan atau tulisan
berkala.
Banyak cara yang dilakukan oleh mahasiswa untuk mempelajari format APA
