REDWOOD GROVE SUMMER CAMPS
Enhanced curriculum! Redwood Grove summer campers explore the natural environment through
hands-on activities, games, songs, hikes, arts and crafts, and an enthusiastic staff in a beautiful setting.
New nature and science units with the Youth Science Institute (YSI) including Ohlone lore and ecology
are included each week. All camps will also explore age-appropriate stewardship concepts and activities
with Acterra from seed planting to invasive plant removal.
Required for ALL Redwood Grove camp participants: Medical release form available at losaltosrecreation.org; campers must bring snack daily...
trashless snacks are encouraged. Wear closed-toe shoes and camp T-shirt every day.

Come take trips with your favorite Underground recreation leaders to places in the bay area. Participants should bring money or a sack lunch on
the trips. Sign up early as space is limited. All trips will meet and drop off at The Underground Teen Center. Participants must stay in pairs and
meet with staff at scheduled times. Supervision will be provided by Los Altos Recreation staff. For more information, please contact Tamara at

The 11-member Youth Commission is comprised of

month depending on availability and the use of a facility attendant.

• Any class cancelled by the Recreation Department will be
refunded in full.
• Returned checks will be charged a $25 service fee.
• A resident is anyone living within the city of Los Altos. All
others living outside the city limits (including unincorporated
areas, Los Altos Hills & Mountain View, etc.) are nonresidents.

Refunds & Transfers


• Refund and transfer requests must be submitted in
writing up to five working days prior to the first day of class.
• All refunds will be charged a $20 service fee.
