Read the following passage and answer the questions that follow.
Baca petikan di bawah dan jawab soalan-soalan berikutnya.

In a forest, there lived a woodcutter and his wife. They had a baby and an old loyal cat
as a pet.

One day, the woodcutter went deep into the forest to search for fruits and wood to sell
to the town folks. The wife then hurried to her neighbour’s house to get the sickle that she
had left the other day. She left her baby who was fast asleep in the cradle. The old cat was
near the cradle, guarding the small master.

Suddenly, out of nowhere, came a snake slithering slowly towards the cradle. It was
hissing, and at any moment, it would bite its victim. The old cat sensed that the animal was
dangerous and would harm the baby. It sprung fast. In an instant, it caught the head of the
snake and bit it to death. The cat was very proud to have done a good deed.

When the woodcutter’s wife returned home, she was surprised to see a pool of blood
near her son’s cradle. She also noticed that the cat’s mouth was covered in blood. She thought
that the cat had killed her son. As fast as lightning, she took her big knife and slashed the cat.
The poor cat died on the spot.

When she went closer to the cradle and spotted the remains of the snake, she realized
that her old cat had protected the baby from the danger. It was too late for her to feel sorry.
