ABSTRACT
Vitamin C is one of the important vitamin for the body and also found in vegetables and
fruits. Vitamin C is an acidic compound and can function as an antioxidant for the body. The
Vitamin C content analysis method used is iodimetric method. The titration in this method uses
iodine as an oxidizer which oxidizes vitamin C and uses starch as an indicator. The purpose of
this practicum is to calculate and analyze Vitamin C content in tomato. The results showed that
the average of vitamin C content of tomato is 42,81 mg/100g or 0,043%.
