Currently working as the principal of a project management and construction firm
specializing in custom home building and high-end specialized renovations.
1999-2000 Site Manager, Buchan Properties, LLC
Hired to expedite the construction of a faltering residential development in pro
gress. The project included 85 luxury single-family homes, 100 high-end townhous
es and a 160 unit apartment complex. Coordinated the planning and permitting sta
ges to meet development agreement obligations. Accelerated construction schedule
and renegotiated contracts with subcontractors. Managed daily construction prog
ress and personnel.
1997-1999 Superintendent, Murray Franklyn
Managed the development of 62 luxury single family homes. Coordinated the develo
pment phases of planning and permitting. Established the construction plans and
schedules. Supervised plat and turn key construction of homes.
1990-1997 Licensed General Contractor, Dimensional Designs
Owner of custom design/build firm specializing in residential remodeling and sel
ect commercial tenant improvements. Projects focused on the individual design an
d construction needs of clients to enhance and expand unique homes. Managed in-h
ouse staff and contracted tradesmen, worked with clients to maintain budgets, co
ordinated all construction. Also worked as lead carpenter.
