Working Foreman January 2009 - Present
* Supervise and assist in the framing of a single family home with five bedrooms
, two and
half bathrooms, and full finished basement. Framing according to plan and owner
's
specifications.
* Installed vinyl replacement windows with caps using breaker.
* Coordinate with electricians, Heating and Air, and Plumbing contractors for al
l rough-ins.
* Assist plumber in the installation of whole house fire sprinkler system.
* Repaired all existing plaster walls where new electrical wiring had to be run.
* Supervise and assisted in installation of approx. 180 sheets of drywall, tape
and finish.
* Hang all interior doors with jambs and trim, complete all interior trim-work a
ccording to
owner's specification and acceptable building standards.
* Install all ceramic tiles in bathrooms and kitchens, according to owner's spec
ifications.
* Project still ongoing.
J&B Electrical Wiring Washington, DC
Working Foreman March 2008-Present
* Supervise and assist in interior demolition of a vacant eight unit apartment b
uilding.
* Raised existing water damaged roof, ceiling, and floor joists into correct pos
ition, and then add new joists as required.
* Reframe or replaced all damaged interior framing walls where necessary.
* Coordinate with electrician for all electrical upgrades.
* Assisted plumber in installation of new drain lines and vents and installation
of
a complete new water piping system using CPVC.
* Installed 20 new vinyl replacement windows.
* Supervise and assisted in the installation of approximately 100 sheets of dryw
all, tape
and finish.
* Repaired all existing damaged plaster walls.
* Replaced all damaged window trim, baseboards and doors.
* Installed eight new prehung exterior front entrance doors with new trim.
* Spray all units with one coat of primer, caulk and putty where necessary, as w
ell as
spray final coat in all units. Brush one coat of latex semi-gloss over all trim
and doors.
* Installed new commercial vinyl tile on all bathrooms and kitchen floors.
* Stripped and refinished all existing cast iron tubs.
* Assisted plumber with installation of all toilets, faucets, and final plumbing
installation.
* Coordinated with electrician for final electrical tasks which included new cei
ling fans,
baseboard heaters, plugs and switches, lights etc.
Robinson Property Management Washington, DC
Working Foreman June 1993-April 2008
As a carpenter/working foreman for the Robinson's my responsibilities would rang
e from
and always included complete demolition to final punch-out.
Please note that all properties renovated/remolded for the Robinson's were compl
etely
renovated. Approximately 20 houses and several multi-family units.
* Supervise and assisted in the complete demo of any project or property to be r
enovated.

* Supervise and assisted in the installation of any and all new roof joist with
sheathing.
Followed by installation of a new Torch-down rubber roof. Obviously this only a
pplies
to properties with flat roofs, this accounts for 80% of the projects.
* Supervise and assisted in the installation of all new floor joists in addition
to any
structural steel beams or laminated beams. Install subfloor accordingly.
* Supervise and assisted in the complete framing of the entire project, using a
wide variety
of various framing materials. Framing was always in accordance with approved pl
ans
and owners specifications.
* Installed new Vinyl or wood replacements windows throughout every project, and
always installed new metal caps using breaker.
* Replace if needed existing stairs, cutting stringers accordingly.
* Coordinate with all subs Electrical, Plumbing, Heating and Air, Bricklayers, C
ement Finishers, and Iron men throughout entire project to insure all work is do
ne in accordance
with approved plans and owners specification.
* Supervise and assist in insulation installation, Drywall hanging, taping and f
inishing all
work done in accordance to acceptable building standards.
* Supervise and assist in the installing of all finish trim and doors. To inclu
de fireplace
mantels, crown moldings, stair treads, and any other finish carpentry.
* Supervise and assist in installation of all kitchen cabinets and countertops.
* Supervise and assist in all stripping, painting prep and actual painting.
* Supervise and assist in final punch-out of each project to ensure all work is
completed in
accordance to approved plans and owners specification.
