Programmer.

2000-2008 Manufacturing Engineer
- Program CNC Amada Turret with 6 shelf material storage and high speed
loading unloading system.
- Program 2000 watts Amada Laser - Lc1212.
- Program 4000 watts Bystronic Laser with material storage.
- Make AutoCAD 2D/3D drawings for single and assembly parts including
bills of materials.
- Develop flat layouts from formed finish parts and customer drawings.
- Create and modify work orders for fabricated parts.
- Order special tools to meet customer specification.
- Create process control sheets for work centers.
- Write requisition forms to order material and hardware.
- Make forming gages for tolerance allowance.
- Design assembly and test fixtures.
1995-2000 CNC Set Up Man and Supervisor
- Operate Amada NC punching cell and laser machines.
- Download and follow set up programs for punching in Crs, Hrs, Stainless
Steel and Aluminum.
- Inspect and measure parts, as required, to maintain quality records.
- Coordinate with engineering to make program changes to enhance the
performance, material utilizationand and quality of the part.
- Maintain accurate counts of parts; identify part number and customer
with work order.
- Set up M-codes for forming tools.
- Maintain tool library to ensure maximum performance.
- Troubleshoot, locate, identify and diagnose machine malfunction.
- Schedule work orders for 1st and 2nd shift operators.
- Set up Line Control schedule to perform lights out weekend production.
- Sharpen punches and dies for longer tool life and better performance.
1988-1995 CNC Operator and Set Up
- Operate and set up Amada Turret Punch Press.
- Download programs to machine controller.
- Insert offsets for part accuracy.
- Write single and multiple G-code programs for simple parts to speed up
production process.
