Dear Hiring Manager,

I believe my qualifications and experience would fulfill the

I have a BS in psychology, specifically Behavioral Neuroscience, and
eight years of allied health experience.
I am strongly analytical and have an affinity for problem solving in
both technical applications and human interaction. My lab experience
at Johns Hopkins Immunogenetics required me perform complex technical
assays, with responsibility for all equipment maintenance and
calibration and software usage reliability.
All my work has required communication with all levels, especially
with health care professionals. At Johns Hopkins, I reported data to
nurse coordinators for the United Network for Organ Sharing and organ
procurement organizations, as well as to the transplant surgeons at
Johns Hopkins Hospital. I was also responsible for writing technical
reports for the directors and associated doctors/patients. As a care
manager, I constantly communicated with physicians in relaying patient
observation and suggesting practical care options.
Once accepted into a very competitive internship at Harvard University
I led the development of magnetic force microscopy. Inherent in this
internship was the need for flexibility, creativity, self directed
working and scheduling as well as the need for being an extraordinary
self-starter. My primary responsibility was to elucidate the technical
ability for the traction forces when applied to neurons, to look at
the neurodegenerative states of deep non-penetrating traumatic brain
injury.
For many years I have been actively engaging in the management of care
for clients with cognitive disorders. Through these years I have been
acknowledged for my education and research. These honors have been in
the induction of the national honors society, Phi Theta Kappa, and
given honors for my thesis work at Washington College. I have also
been on the Dean's list at both institutions. In addition to these
general skills and accomplishments I have experience in the handling
and care of lab animals, including intraperitoneal injections and
cerebral evisceration.

I have extensive experience with the complete Microsoft Office Suite

applications. I am extremely detail-oriented and have excellent
written and verbal communication skills.
