Established first Wingstop Restaurant in the Madison market. Store opened in No
vember 2010 with an 8 month leadtime (normal leadtime was 12 to 18 months).
Established right environment by focusing on guest satisfaction, quality and eff
iciencies.
Currently selling store to investment group to re-engage in manufacturing.
Cummins Incorporated (1997 - 2009)
Plant Manager Wautoma, Wisconsin (2008 - 2009)
Oversaw initial plant shutdown and line transfers. Key responsibilities include
d filling critical functional leadership roles, and focusing on meeting P&L targ
ets and customer demand. Led and directed 175 salary and hourly employees.
Established clear direction within the first month. Expectations were team work
, communication, innovation, accountability, results and recognition. Toyotas A
3 process and daily 4M meetings were also introduced to stream flow and build tr
ansparency.
Oversaw $100M in sales and $15M in annual capital and tactical during transition
of lines.
Implemented Safety Begins With Me initiative resulting in zero OSHA recordables.

Plant Manager El Paso, Texas (2007 - 2008)


Led 100 salary and hourly people in a production and warehouse facility with sal
es of $40M / year. Key focus areas were reducing back orders through continuous
improvement tools, turning the plant around, and improving customer and supplie
r relationships.
Reduced back orders from $1M to less than $20K in 6 months.
Implemented significant new corporate branding and facility improvements to inte
rior and exterior within 6 months (recognized internally as significant).
Improved process flow and troubleshooting techniques using 6S and Lean principle
s to increase production yield by 40% ($2M savings / year).
Established daily 4M meetings to quickly communicate critical issues for faster
resolution.
Improved customer and supplier relationships through weekly teleconferences, and
negotiated for cost reductions on key supplier components. ($1M savings / year)

Established first ever hourly employee reference handbook.


Quality Manager El Paso, Texas / Juarez, Mexico (2005 - 2007)
Led 60 salary and hourly people, and established the first ever Right First Time
program that focused primarily on internal process and product continuous impro
vements.
Responsible for annual TS 16949 certifications, warranty reduction projects, cri
tical supplier conferences and all 6S projects (quality champ) for both plants.
RFT program resulted in a 25% cost of coverage reduction in first year, and was
cascaded as a best practice across other Cummins plants. ($3M reduction in warra
nty the first year)

team work, communication, accountability, results and recognition.
Engineering Supervisor Juarez, Mexico (2002 - 2005)
Led Bosch HPCR pump and injector reman product introduction launches worth $150M
in PBIT. Met or exceeded capital budgets and successfully launched both progra
ms earlier than scheduled. Led injector component outsourcing activities on tim
e and within budget. ($30M savings / year)
Development Engineer (II / III) Columbus, Indiana (1997 - 2002)
Managed customer driven quality projects to improve design and fatigue margins.
Led rapid problem solving processes, FMEAs, print and design reviews, and APQP
validation work.
Rolls Royce (1995 - 1997)
