Activity: “Public Speaking” in SMK Tengku Afzan

The principal of SKM Tengku Afzan has sent an invitation for us to organize public
speaking for their students, there were 4 teachers and 100 over students including School
Prefects, Librarian, Class Monitor and Assistance Monitors from Form 1 to 5 were all
present. Pn Fauziah our Business Lecturer has conducted this event; it was totally an
interactive and fun filled activity as per the school counselor Pn, Surya.

By the end of the activity, we called 3 students up to the stage to demonstrate an

impromptu public speaking to see if they practice what we’ve taught. Teachers and
Students were exposing to do public speaking.

The counselor has conveyed her regards and sincere thanks to Olympia College for
facilitating this event. This event was organized by Ms Evelyn our course consultant. We
take this opportunity to thank Pn Fauziah for facilitating this wonderful event and also
sincere thanks to the school principal and the counselor.
Activity: “Leadership” in Olympia College (Students from SMK Sri Damai)

School: Pn. Chan (Counselor)

Pn Chan, the SMK Sri Damai school counselor has invited Olympia college kuantan to
conduct an activity on leadership and creativity for their students, with 2 buses around 80
students perfects and 3 teachers were present on that day at olympia college.

We had ice-breaking, Prefect Talk, Leadership skills plus Communication skill and some
games. The event started at 9 am and until 5 pm. A few students were asked to present
an impromptu communication skill, and leadership skill. There’re some improvements in
their skills even though some of the others are still shy. Most of them are sporting and
friendly and we can see that they enjoyed the activities very much. They hope in future,
they’ll like to have such activities again.

SMK Tengku Afzan organized sports day to their students, and invited Olympia College
to participate and support their students. Students were paying more attention to their
sports day. Olympia College team with Ms Evelyn and Mr Suresh have participated to
give a moral support and encourage students to involve in various spots activities.

School: Pn. Khamzah (Teacher)

Olympia College Kuantan has received an invitation from SMK Mat Kilau to organize an
activity for their school prefects, around 100 students. 2 teachers, 2 counselors and 92
students came for this activity. Among the students are some prefects and some future to
be prefects from Form 1 to 5. We had ice-breaking and many games to show their
creativity in leading people into producing better and more quality prefects in future.

This event was conducted by Mr Suresh OCKTN business lecturer, Ms Evelyn was
organizing with the assistance of Mr Surya.
Activity: “Public Speaking” in SMK Cenderawasih

Date: 12 May 2010

Time: 8.20 a.m to 10.20 a.m

School: En. Zahari (Counselor)

Conducted public speaking for lower 6 class students around 40 students

attended, It was a fun-filled learning session. According to En Zahari, the
School Counsellor , this is one of the most fun filled learning session the
students had.

OC Kuantan also has conducted Motivational talk for 450 home children from who are
currently taking SPM, they are from 40 schools around Kuantan. Pn Woo – The chairman
of the event and PPD invited Olympia College Kuantan to conduct this activity, we also
sponsored study kits to all the students.
On behalf of Olympia College Kuantan, we thank the school counselors and principals
and PPD for allowing us to conduct these activities.
