Prior t o that time I was in the Atlanta Regional Office. I have been assigned to the Global War on Terrorism Team. I interpret and analyze veteran claim files for ap propriate development and final rating determinations. I use my knowledge of Fed eral Laws pertaining to compensation, pension, and VA regulation and procedures that implement these laws to accurately rate claims. I use the knowledge of comp uter systems technology to utilize rules-based claims processing, monitoring and correspondence preparation. I evaluate evidence and allegations while drawing s ound conclusions when rating claims files. I work independently using sound judg ment, guidelines, and computer systems technology. I exercise a high degree of i ndependent judgment, skill, and initiative in adapting guidelines and procedures to individual case circumstances. I have skill to function effectively in a str essful environment. I am able to prioritize and execute tasks in a high pressure environment.
