6088/6102 Alarm List

"   " : No status display. 


Action: Check 24V DC input to CX2B connector to SPM. If voltage
present, then replace the SPM.

"- -": Not Ready 


Action: This is not an alarm state. SPM is in not ready condition
because no spindle command have been received from CNC.

AL-A0, A1: SPM control circuit.


Action: Replace SPM.

AL-01: SPM overheat.


Action: Check for overload. Check the internal and external cooling fan
(on heat sink) for proper operation and oil/dust contamination.

AL-02: Speed deviation error.


Action: Check spindle speed sensor(usually located on the backside of
the motor) connected to JY2 connector on SPM.

AL-03: DC fuse blown.


Action: Replace SPM.

AL-07: Spindle overspeed.


Action: Check parameters
0T/0M: PRM 6511 bit 2, 1, 0
16/18-T/M: PRM 4011 bit 2, 1, 0
15T/15M: PRM 3011 bit 2, 1, 0

AL-09: SPM overheat. 


Action: Check for overload. Check the internal and external cooling fan
(on heat sink) for proper operation and oil/dust contamination.

AL-12: SPM Overcurrent.


Action: Disconnect motor leads U, V, W from SPM and command
spindle. If no more AL-12, then check motor or cable. If AL-12 persists
withour motor leads, replace SPM.

AL-13: SPM CPU error.


Action: Replace SPM.

AL-15: Spindle motor switching circuit problem.


Action: Check switch mechanism (usually magnetic contactors). Follow,
U, V, W motor leads from the SPM to locate these contactors.

AL-16: SPM RAM error.


Action: Replace SPM.

AL-19: U phase current error.


Action: Replace SPM.

AL-20: V phase current error. Action: Replace SPM. 

AL-24: Serial communication error. This status is normal if CNC control


turned OFF.
Action: Check cable/ connection to JA7B of SPM.

AL-25: Serial communication error. This status is normal if CNC control


turned OFF. Action: Check cable/ connection to JA7B of SPM. 

AL-26: Speed detection error.


Action: Check feedback cable/sensor connected to JY5 on SPM.
Also check following parameters.
0T/0M: PRM 6511 bit 5
16/18-T/M: PRM 4011 bit 5
15T/15M: PRM 3011 bit 5

AL-27: Position coder signal error.


Action: Check position coder and connection to JY3, JY4.
Also check parameters:
0T/0M: PRM 6501 bit 2
16/18-T/M: PRM 4001 bit 2
15T/15M: PRM 3001 bit 2

AL-28: Speed detection signal error. 


Action: Check the sensor connection to JY3, JY4, JY5. Also check
parameters: 
0T/0M: PRM 6501 bit 2 
16/18-T/M: PRM 4001 bit 2 15T/15M: PRM 3001 bit 2

AL-29: Spindle Overload.


Action: Check cutting condition.

AL-31: Spindle motor locked.


Action: Check if the motor can be turned freely by hand. Check motor
power cables U, V, W. Check feedback sensor connection to JY2.

AL-32: Serial communication error.


Action: Replace SPM.

AL-34: Parameter setting error.


Action: Check parameters.
0T/0M: PRM 65xx
16/18-T/M: PRM 40xx
15T/15M: PRM 30xx

AL-35: Parameter setting error.


Action: Check parameters.
0T/0M: PRM 6556-6559

Action: Check spindle speed variation between main and sub spindles.

AL-52/ AL-53: Serial communication error.


Action: Replace SPM.

AL-54: Spindle overcurrent.


Action: Check cutting condition for overload.

AL-55: Spindle motor switching circuit problem. Action: Check switch
