Duties: Duties: Operate various size forklifts to unload and ship material. Move
and store material within the warehouse noting the location of the material. In
spect material to ensure all required specifications have been met. Perform all
receipt and issue actions pertaining to materials. Review all accompanying paper
work for accuracy including description of material, gross and tare weights. Per
form Safety Inspection on all trailers before unloading material. Unload and loa
d trailer's according to specification and loading paperwork. Manage truck sched
ule and trucks entering and exiting plant. Resolve complaints submitted by drive
r's. Elevate to the next chain of command if resolution cannot be made. Ensure t
raceability is maintained on all material. Ensure proper stock levels are mainta
ined. Review paperwork and inspect material to make sure there are no discrepanc
ies including shortages or overages. If discrepancies are found resolution must
be made by advising warehouse personnel or other appropriate personnel (through
proper organization channels) concerning any correction. This must be done to co
rrect and prevent any discrepancies. Determine the appropriate location for mate
rial and safely and securely store material. Label material with all required in
formation pertaining to the material. Enter stored and shipped material in the A
utomated Inventory System. Include all information such as weight, receipt/ship
date, number of line items, description of material, location stored. Transfer a
ll information into the automated inventory system. Complete all paperwork for i
dentification, storage and record keeping. Perform routine inventories monthly o
r as needed. Prepare inventory reports. Verify inventory counts and locations. N
ote location and all identifying information as it pertains to the material. Res
olve all inventory discrepancies involving any shortages or overages. Make inven
tory adjustment reports as necessary. Notify appropriate personnel of any correc
tions needed. Perform analysis as to the reasons for any discrepancies. I also i
nput inventory into computer when necessary. I work in areas that are sometimes
damp, hot and cold. I was frequently exposed to the possibility of cuts, scrapes
, bruises, abrasions, falls and injury in performing my tasks. At times I am exp
osed to dust, dirt, grease and high noise levels. I wear all required protective

Conducts extensive and exhaustive searches for customer requirements and identi
fies part number/stock number conversions and ensures appropriate data elements
are provided with materiel requests. Monitors/reviews the stock exception listin
g and makes additions, changes or deletions to excess, requisitioning, shipment,

Operate a forklift to move material from location to location within the wareho
use. Investigate and report all inventory discrepancies to proper chain of comma

I have knowledge and experience in the past several years in maintaining the mec
hanical operations of not only my vehicles but the vehicles of my family as well

Major duties and responsibilities
Provides supervision, care and correctional treatment of inmate and guidance to
lower-graded Correctional Officers. Incumbent is concerned with maintenance of i
nstitution security contributing to the health and welfare of the inmates and th
e promotion of good public relations.
As an employee in a correctional facility, the incumbent is subject to arduous,
adverse and stressful working conditions and environments.
Enforces rules and regulations governing facility security, inmate accountabilit
y and inmate conduct to ensure judicial sanctions are carried out and inmates re
main in custody.
From time to time, may be authorized to carry firearms and to use physical force
, including deadly force, to maintain control of inmates.
Is subject to being in such hostile or life-threatening situations as riots, ass
aults and escape attempts. Exercises sound judgment in making instantaneous deci
sions affecting life, well-being, civil liberties and property which cannot be r
eviewed prior to implementation and which may subject the decision-maker to lega
l liabilities, including personal sanctions.
Must successfully complete specialized training in firearms proficiency, self de
fense, management of medical emergencies, safety management and interpersonal co
